As far as I know, trip wires cannot be shift ordered, right? Meaning that you have to explicitly build every one on your own.

I honestly wouldn't want to put this amount of micro in something like that.

Don't you dare nerf Sturmpioneer survivability unless Volks actually get proper damage output simultaneously... that's all I've got to say about that.

Right now, OKW infantry power is lopsided blatantly towards Sturmpioneers, but that isn't unbalanced, because Volks are trash. Can't just go nerfing Sturms based on other changes happening to resource costs and such.

That is simply not correct. Volks are only 'weak' until T1 or T2 is built. Then they have their StG44 and Fire Nades which will make them win every engagement from mid to close while being in green cover.

Volks (and Grens) are not a rushing unit, if you try to storm an enemy position, they will lose. This is intended.
If you play against OKW, you will see that Volks are a pain in the ass because they get incredibly strong the longer the game goes. In the first minutes, Vet0 Volks are a piece of cake. But fighting against Vet5 Stg44 Volks is something that can be really frustrating.

Also as Allies, Sturmpioneers are cancer, honestly. You have to make a 'lucky shot' and let them drop at least 1 (better 2) model(s) when they are closing in in the early game, otherwise you have to immediately retreat in order to prevent a squad wipe.

As a German here: No in Germany Swastikas are not banned automatically.
Sure, you cannot, must not and should not walk around with a Swastika on your shirt, but for educational purposes and in media, they are allowed as long as they do not glorify the NS propaganda.

Not a single Hollywood movie has its Swastikas censored out here in Germany.

But the difference is, that in movies, the Nazi regime is always viewed as negative, thus no glorification of the Swastikas. Sure, there are also good German people in movies, but you won't find anyone behaving like this solely because of their believes in Nazism.

In games, there is a difference. Think about playing as Ostheer in CoH2 and winning the match. Before we had our victory strikes after a match, we had a video that will play depending on who won the match. As Soviets it was the USSR symbols with a Russian Hymn and as Germans (former Ostheer) it was some kind of a medal with the Balkenkreuz (the cross that is used ingame) shown.

If you replaced this Balkenkreuz with a Swastika, this would clearly have been a glorification of Nazi symbols and thus been banned in Germany.

Sure you can argue about that, but as other people in this thread already mentioned, SEGA simply didn't want to take the risk and that is in my opinion understandable. Same goes for Steam and their workshop.

Ost Bunkers cost 60 munitions to get an MG which is a lot for a faction that has gather together every bit of munitions it can.

An MG bunker means one static emplacement more that you can easily go around once you know where it is (because - you know - a bunker can't move) and one LMG42 for a Gren Squad or a flamer for a Pio less.

Every allied faction has more than enough tools to handle MG bunkers. And once even Light tanks appear, most bunkers lose their usefulness. With the indirect fire meta, a bunker is IMO just wasted money most of the times.

I honestly don't know if US fighting positions cost popcap (probably they do) but they give REs rifle nades inside which is a good compensation in my opinion. Still Fighting Positions are more kind of sucky emplacements, not comparable to the Brit counterparts.

But still, the most important thing is that Ost simply does not have enough mun to prefer an MG bunker over, let's say, a Panzer's MG42.

Almost every German unit (I honestly think EVERY German infantry unit) has an upgrade that costs mun and is usually needed in order to stay alive.
There is usually no game where I float more than 50-100 mun at any given time as Ost.

It made more sense in vCoH where you got a free MG42 with every building if you chose Defense Doctrine.
