Thread: (Infiltration) Grenades against buildings27 Feb 2015, 11:55 AM Clearing buildings is a weakness of okw and this doctrinal choice helps a player to fill the gap, since the leiG doesn't do the job it's supposed to do and flamers are not available to okw. The ability is strong but has a long cooldown. It's strong on a 5 men volks squad but gets weak if you lose entities. I think the best way to balance it would be to make it costing depending on how many nades are thrown if that's possible . Like 6 muni per thrown grenade. That way volks would pay 30 muni when demolishing buildings In: COH2 Balance

As stated by relic, the soviets were designed as a hard counter faction that has doctrines to fill the gaps. Giving soviets one of the best generalists tanks as a stock unit, is against their faction design. This is why relic won't do and this is pointless. Think of this as an RTS, which has unique factions and the background is loosely based on WW2. Op you are not the first one who suggested this and you won't be the last one, but it will never happen, deal with it. Such could've been only possible during alpha or beta phases of the game, but except for changes that involve some stat changes on units you won't see groundbreaking changes. In: Lobby

Thread: Damn this balance25 Feb 2015, 14:05 PM Matchmaking is the biggest problem in 3vs3 & 4vs4 games. Due the higher player base axis players have the same ranks, while they get matched against bad players. I always have celo running when playing team games. I guess from now on I will take Screenshots of the Celo screen and posts my findings here. If you check fixed team games, you will find out that they are very balanced, except for some strategies on both sides. I think it would be actually really good if Relic releases the brits as a new faction without adding a new axis yet. 3 allies factions would people make play Allies more often. In addition I think if they would add a faction that is somehow connected to Rommel, the axis playerbase would explode, because of all that Rommel fanboys on this planet. In: COH2 Balance

However this game would definitely benefit from a larger player base: +more patches +more balanced match ups +more content +bigger community +seal clubbing for about a month when f2p really gets introduced +daily wtf balance threads instead of weekly ones.
