Its funny because, in the campaign, tank traps already provided yellow cover (and also because RE had sandbags in AA lol)

What about conscripts?
conscripst are shit at long range also their sandbags is big so you can't hide it behind point(witch also should not be a thing),and they have same hp as smaller so it easier to destroy with mortars or AT guns

They are fine as they currently are because they break up the tedium of 4 Volks builds all of the time and I find they work fine as long as you don't only rely on them. With more buffs they would become stronger than Volks and building 3-4 every game would become the meta. Right now at least they are viable but not OP.

Sandbags should be removed from all mainline inf units anyway (unless you pick a doctrine for it) and moved to engineers in my book.
It's a major reason why Volks and Inf section are too cost effective
I agree. It used to be a redeming factor for cons terrible dps. They should be the only main line able to build them imo.
