I'm curious about how much support there is for replacing the UKF Mortar Pit emplacement with a normal mortar team.

Outright deleting the Mortar Pit from the game almost certainly isn't on the cards, but there's plenty of precedent for moving units into and out of commanders. (Sturmtiger, OKW Panzer IV and MG34 to name a few.)

  • 3-inch Mortar Pit removed from UKF T1.
  • 81mm Mortar (the USF one) added to UKF T1.
  • Tactical Support Regiment: Air Resupply Operation replaced with Mortar Pit.

give them a shitty 60 range mortar with terrible accuracy and awful reload (much worse than the m 81) but for cheap(like 200) and then give the option for the mortar to "entrench itself" for 60-80 mp giving it a 1 mortar mortar pit, then again for 100-120 mp the possibility to upgrade to add another mortar for the mortar pit (so u get the current one)

u can deconstruct the pit for free when it has 1 mortar but cant deconstruct it if it's upgraded to 2 mortar

at base the mobile mortar has 80 range smoke

like this ukf gets a cheap mobile smoke platform and a way to move the pit but with less damage, and if u really need a 60 range anti garrison mortar(as even with awful accuracy it would still hit the building)

I assume you would rather they just deleted the entire faction I am guessing.
