Maybe have it like BF3 when you can reset your current stats whenever you want?

So on BF3 your global/entire stats history can not be reset and ppl/yourself can view this if they want but you can reset your normally displayed stats such that the displayed stats are only from the latest reset date e.g. after a patch or w/e.

Or some kind of modifier, that subtract points from inactive player. Normally you don't need to reset the ELO+ System.

I also thing the seasons would be great. Every 6 months clear the stats and pronounce the winner of the season.

+1 to any change to Leaderboards. Right now it falls into the same problem as vCOH. a few players will achieve the top ranks and never play again.

Seasons would be amazing but, i do NOT think relic has the resources to implement one like in SC2.

Either a decay or seasons would be fine for me. However, inactive players should decline in their rank. There are some very high ranked players that haven't played for a long time.

Balance will never be perfect. Because people love being vocal about non-existing issues and just nag on losses which they blatanly missplayed, but put the blame on balance either way.
