Sniper shooting at tanks

I tried some sniperplay and that bugs me a lot.

My snipers are so stupid because they decide to shoot at a tank like madmen.

I googled - found nothing. This has to get fixed or did I overlook something?
Only solution I use - hold fire and manual mode.

Yep. Holdfire is the only solution. Kinda dumb lol. Sometimes ost snipers will shoot clown cars or dodges and get rekt.

Why wasn't this fixed?
I watched many pro players streams and videos...
All seem to ignore it but it's rather a big issue and very easy to fix.
1 line in code has to be changed.

You could say that about dozens of QoL things that are still unfixed or we're only fixed recently. To be fair, I'm pretty sure there's so many things that can go wrong with the coding of this game.

Hold fire is the only solution, other could be to keep your sniper away from enemy tanks - which you want to do anyway most of the time.

Hector back! Was wondering where you went.

I find that keeping snipers on hold fire when they're not actively supporting other troops is a smart thing to do, especially if they're off in a bush by themselves spotting or something.

This game could benefit from many quality of life features that are simple to add.

I would like to see a button added similar to Vehicle Priority but for Infantry Handheld AT (Made this previously in a personal mod) and one for Snipers with Infantry Priority.

People complain the Soviets are useless.
Well, they are useless if you fight your units 1vs1. But they are all about Synergy.
What do I care if you have a Panther? Once you are crippled from running over a mine
I wait until you repair it with your 3x SturmPioneers and tell my 3x Mortars to fire at it.
