Soviet defensive structures?

Do you think it's a bit unfair for the soviets to seriously lack field defensives? Sandbags are only on conscripts, engineers don't even have tank traps (which are doctrinal iirc, so it's nonsense). They don't even have any kind of bunker/foxhole/emplacement buldings as well, not even doctrinal, but that's not critical.

because relic was like "soviets are 100% offensive faction LOL" back in the day, before WFA came in, but then relic never revamped how soviets works.

Yes, they are necessary, and urban defense commander must be reworked. But this will not happen - it's Relic.

Because this game isn't suffering from emplacements enough already?

For holding ground, soviets have good 30 muni mines, tripwire flare mines on most infantry, Demo charges (which I'd love to see deleted and replaced with a bunker!!). You can also build sandbags that can block light vehicles.

And of course, machine guns which set up faster than you can dodge them and pin almost instantly. They're so effective, some people build up to 6 of them.

Relic is enslaved to SEGA and they will do absolutely nothing unless it could be sold as DLC.
