There will be a quick Hotfix implemented on March 9th at 2PM PST.

Fixed the issue where veterency modifiers were not applied correctly to newly re-enforced units in an infantry squad
Fixed several small issues in Automatch search

I for one welcome our new sapper overlords now their massive cover bonus applies to everything not just stens.

They will have a tremendous 6.4 dps at long range, volks and grens, be afraid!

They'll still drop like flies on approach.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

In before Relic didn't actually fix the vet issue. It was too hard. They just pretended to, and no one will ever know, just like no one ever noticed it was broken in the first place

Having now checked the team weapons, I have good news.

Every atgun, and all the static howitzers, and LEIGs, will gain fun stuff at vet2.

All the atguns and howitzers will gain a rotation bonus of 130% to 200% (depending on squad), to the power of the number of members (plus the team weapon) in their squad at the time they gain vet2.

So for instance a ZIS3 will gain a rotation bonus of 1.3^7 = 627% upon reaching vet2 with a full squad. If you hit vet2 with a less than full squad then it'll be less, and will never be increased either (without decrewing the weapon and vetting up again).

LEIG, already mentioned, gains speed instead.
