or delete it, replace it with a 6 CP Chaffe light tank, and give the Stuart canister shot.

I don't think it needs the biggest buff, it's more the doctrine its in that also lets it down. I mean IR Pathfinder are really the only strong thing about it. USF doesn't need more recon runs, Forward Observer isn't that much of a boost and has a ton of requirements before it activates, and the off-map combat group is RNG based while also costing a ton of manpower.

M8 Greyhound
Improved 37mm performance/standardized to better reflect its cost and timing. Added smoke to improve survivability and Canister cost reduced due to it no longer instant killing models and requires the vehicle to get close.
-Reload standardized from 2.8/4.4 to 3.
-Canister shot from 50 to 40 munitions.
-Now has Smokescreen ability. Same as the M20.

To be honest it should be made more recon oriented. I'd like to see it's canister shot replaced with an IR Half-Track analogue toggle ability.Secondly it should get the ability to trip flare fields; because I want fireworks in CoH 2.
It's combat doesn't need to be buffed but I'd like to see it get the abilities I suggested.

Maybe at Vet 1, the Greyhound could get an increase in sight range?

i'd like canister shot to be changed to do a a flat 40 damage in the area. it's not going to surprise wipe like that but it'll still be very effective against blobed infantry.

I think that the M8 has pretty good vet. At vet 2, it reliably snipes models, and seems to vet quickly thanks to its cannon and low cost (compared to other vehicles).
The only thing it needs is a little utility, since the canister is pretty meh.
I would say either a recon mode (T70 or valentine style) or a smoke ability, defensive or offensive. I know that real life M8s had WP rounds and smoke pots.
