MAN ITS A TANK DESTROYAAA, thats why grens have grenades and riflemens have rifles and uhm yes infantry sections have some infantry in them.

Give KT 100 range, 640 damage because fighting jacksons,su85, and slow ass expensive firefly+tulip with a JP fucking 4 AKA the best TD in the fucking game that solos all of those at vet 0 is too much effort. Not to mention it al fucking ready out ranges most mediums and can reach out and slap a Jackson on most maps even with its paltry 45 range.

Give KT 1000 front Armor because TOP 3 highest armor value in the game is NOT ENOUGH ARMOR.

Also, make KT main gun have twice the AOE, and one shot squads and AT guns even more so than it does currently.


thats the only way to fix this broken unit. +1

Edit: maybe replace sws truck auto call in with kingtiger battlegroups rolling in.

a little anecdote about the KT from few days ago. Brand new KT rolls on the front. It's not unsupported. It's got PAK43 behind it and infantry all around. Rifleblob approaches, obviously reveals it. 2 Firefly shots and double tulips from the FOW frontally destroy it in less than 3 seconds. And that was about it from my ultimate area denial/all possible fuel invested of a Hi-end unit. In all transparency KT was about 95% Healthwise since it got scratched by and AT when tryin' to scare of Maxim that prevented my infantry to move ahead.

p.s. It was pretty safely reversed after that first AT shot. But I was all invested to try to stop the rifleblob with my (all vetted) Sturmoficier, 2 volks, G43 Fusiliers AND Obers, which also failed, but that's another story I guess..


This pretty much sums up the arguments about the KT. If you see heavy TD investment, then don't build slow, expensive tanks! I cannot stress this enough. The issue you are having problems with is not related to the KT, but OKW in general.

The KT is the only non-doc super heavy in a faction, it is available when your opponent has lost the fuel war, is late in the game, and your opponent is still fielding tons of infantry which your JPIV's are incapable of providing any damage to them. It gives OKW a way to break through stalemates in which more lightly armored tanks simply cannot venture. If the game is close and there is lots of AT floating around, invest in other units. You have the buildings, get stuka's. Or if you don't like that get and infared HT and avoid the TD's. If you are using breakthrough I would recommend the JagdTiger. It has great damage against tanks, good damage to infantry, and its vet 1 barrage is deadly to anything. Its cost is equivalent anyway.

The Brit late game and the OKW limited combined arms is are problems right now, not the KT.

Imo the kt needs a offensive buff...you know okw sacrifices os much and builds all these trucks to get a ultimate end game unit...and player are expecting here to just cake walk it with m10 spam,td kiting,vairous abilites and offmap....but talk about kt buff nope
every one just freaks about but hey its cool to have insaley op churchill and talk about isu 152 buff to previous state sometimes people confuse word normal with op
solution:
Limit to one per game
increase the main gun damage from 240 to 320
slight increase in aoe and its damage ( because of the new squad spacing its not effective as before)
speahead:no one uses well because no on gets to this veterancy but still it sucks change the cone from 90 to 180 degree
vet 4:increased armor
vet 5 bonus changed from -30 to -50% reload
-50 % vet requirement



In short.

Isu 152 was OP before
m10 spam is OP

Tiger need a minor buff.

Its soo weak it need to 2 shot any USA indoctrinal tank (pershing needs 3 shots)
it does not wipe enaught , increase AOE
It vet is weak ,decrease vet ruquirements by 50 % , give more armor and increase ROF with vet , so after 3 killed shermans it should kill em even better than before.

NOTE: Buff it only slightly or it will be OP and ISU152 was Op before nerf

No armor or range buff, it doesn't need to straight-up counter Allied tank destroyers, but it could use a speed or HP buff to better maneuver or absorb damage for survive-ability based on its cost.

Pretty much this. Slight speed buff, a slight rotation buff, maybe an HP buff. Some combination of those 3 would help it a lot in smaller games without breaking bigger games.

the VI B is absolutely fine. if it was any faster it would be massively OP because you couldn't soft retreat from it. same issue with HP. people already complain that the churchill is OP (it's not) and thy want to add more hp (the thing that people hate about the churchill) to the VI B? even with a price increase that would be OP. the ONLY issue the VI B has is TDs on open maps and user error. support it and it will never die.

but the churchill is not OP; the only reason people have problems with it is because they don't have enough hard AT. the churchill by itself does very little damage (it's a very glorified medium tank) and is only effective when sighting for fireflies. the specialist variants are a different story.

it isn't OP IMHO, but it does great damage against AT guns and infantry/weapon teams. Plus its grenade toss ability lets you drive up near an AT gun and clear it.

yeah, it's a solid all rounder medium like the IV or cromwell but with 1400hp. the price might be a tad bit low but the unit is designed to be part of a combined arms approach (as opposed the the comet or V which is that vehicle plus infantry) and so it has to be affordable. i don't think the cost could be raised beyond 160 fuel. the grenade is a whole nother issue and i think it's cool but could use some tweaking, both so it's more responsive and so it doesn't wipe setup teams as easily.

sure Church is not OP in the context of the whole game, but you actually said it yourself - it's OP for a "medium" tank ! and there are exactly 3 + 1 hard counters for it in the whole Axis arsenal, and they're all doctrinal except the KT..

back on topic, I would really love to see or hear even hypothetical situation where Churchill, or any other Allied Heavy melts within 3 seconds.. !?? Please just don't say he gets shot by a 2 JT's, KT and an Elefant while being marked by a Command Panther :hyper:

As..

"THE best Tank in the whole game/the ultimate area denial tool/mobile fortress of a King Tiger" does in this video KT FTW !

p.s. for things to be even more cute, KT was 100% (Health), and it was revealed 'cause of glitched dead mg member ... :facepalm: so much of user experience.

Tell that to the Croc that just 30 minutes ago drove up to 2 Paks and a StuG and annihilated both Paks within 10 seconds and could still escape the StuG with a third health left. For a moment there I thought I had a massed AT wall.
