The limit of 1 heavy tank is on doctrinal vehicles. Churchill isn't one of them.

There is a limit of 1 on the AVRE (and I assume the crocodile too)
The regular churchill only has a high health pool and a 75mm. It's unlikely to win against anything stronger than the Pz IV, such as the Panther or Tiger.
Might as well ask for a KV-1 limit.

By your very own logic, King Tiger is a medium tank.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

its just the insane amount of armour and HP that makes it that good, you can tank untill support arrives or kite the enemy tank into a trap without loosing the kite tank itself.. good unit but mixed with comet its too strong IMO

What's the penetration on the Churchill? I assumed it would sturggle to pen the Panther's front.

Indeed. I had one Panther and two PAK 40s face off against two Churchills the other day. The two Churchills almost clubbed my Panther to death. I had to speed outa there with blitz. After that, the two Churchills leisurely drove away from my two PAKs.

Not betting my hand on it(memory can go only so far), but its something around that.

Opinion. It will get changed within the next two weeks so these balance threads aren't needed anymore.

Try using a StuG or jagdpanzer

Best counter to Churchill is a Tiger, cause a Churchil almost never penetrates a Tiger from the front

I honestly dont mind UK being able to build 2 or more Churchills, i dont find them to be that good.
