I don't agree that they are the best allied TDs. The m10 is certainly a viable TD but the need for it to flank heavier tanks inevitably exposes it to more enemy AT guns.
When there are SU85s or Jacksons on the field, you'll have to expose your AT guns on the front line because otherwise they can't support your armored spearhead against 60 range tank destroyers. If the enemy tank destroyers need to flank, you can keep your AT guns in a more safe position behind your armored spearhead and they can still support your tanks from there.

Thats just it, if you hate all those things, then you have a lot in common with most Soviet players. Stock Soviets needs a buff so that callins can become weaker without destroying the faction. The next player that says "but Soviets were designed as a callin faction" will get a punch to the throat.
