I was playing on Angoville sweeping mines when I ran over one with my Elephant. Problem i have with this is i teched a sweeper on my engi solely for that reason, to spot out the mines. Now, my complaint is that I could see the mines perfectly after i had passed them with my engi but somehow my elephant still hit it. WTF, is there a vicinity marker or range for the pio to be in or do i have to glue a sweeper to follow the Ele around all fucking day? This is truely annoying.

Before people start asking rhetorical questions like "dude, did you leave your elephant ontop of the mine and moved your engi away? Hell no, the engi was at least 3-4 seconds as far as distance goes from the elephant.

Lumpy, I would have but i was engaging double t34's, and an isu 152. Also, had double pak 40's just grinning and waiting to rek their stuff. I didn't save the replay. Sorry, next time i encounter this i will sir.

Next time save the replay, in my thousands of games I don't think i've ever had what you seem to be describing happen.

mines are tame when you have them spotted, as soon as you lose that LOS, from the sweeper moving away, etc, they go live.
pro cruzz tip #3850: vehicles with a sweeper squad in them act as mobile mine detectors.
