AI Penal battalions have AT grenades

On multiple occasions, I've had penal battalions throw AT grenades at my vehicles. It's only the AI; I've never had a player do it to me so I don't know how to reproduce the bug. But I've had it happen to me in so many different matches that I know it isn't just a fluke.

i feel like this happens when cons merge with them, after hitting a certain threshold. i think that's documented somewhere.

I think it happens when the AI merges Cons with Penals.

the AI can do it with any squad they merge cons into.

So if it happens with a conscript merge, is that an intended feature? I can't imagine it is.

nope, or least we can assume it's not. relic hasn't said anything on it that i'm aware of and certainly haven't made any attempts to change it.

Only the AI can do it as far as I can tell. I've been unable to recreate it with players using clicking, grid-keys, or classic keys. I have however seen it used pretty much every time a bot has Cons in a Penal squad.

I saw a video a while ago where a zis-gun threw an AT nade and destroyed the engine of a 222. It seems to happen to any unit that was merged into.
On an unrelated note, I had a game post patch in which I had an M20 crew with a bazooka + pansershreck. I captured a raketen with it (3 models went to raketen, squad had one remaining.) The wierd thing was that the raketen had a bazooka equipped under its unit icon, and one of the weapon crew had a bazooka. Anyone else see this bug?
