Now i was wondering is it possible to run over infantry in this game? i am pretty sure it has been spoken about here but i saw it happen. Maybe its a bug ?

Hello guys, i was recently playing match as OKW vs an USF player, and in one point of the game he was running me over with his tank destroyers ( jakson or wolverine i am not sure he did choose the commander with wolverine ) and it was working in some measure he would take out 2 out of 4 of my falls or obersoldaten squad.
Now i was wondering is it possible to run over infantry in this game? i am pretty sure it has been spoken about here but i saw it happen. Maybe its a bug ?

It has been since vcoh. Any tank with atleast medium crush can run over infantry. And it's been popular tactic among good players since the game came out.

This can all medium/heavy vehicles.

It has been since vcoh. Any tank with atleast medium crush can run over infantry. And it's been popular tactic among good players since the game came out.
Yeah i get it, its stupid also, all vehicles should be able to kill infantry, are you saying that you couldnt kill a man with m20, 222 sdfkz, halftrack etc ?
this guy i was playing against was just driving arround with a horde of 6+ tank destroyers , and it did him no good i won.

This actually it's a good thing to do against okw blob unless there are many schrecks in that blob. I'm pretty sure there were wolverines, if I'm not mistaken, they have greater speed.

I'm pretty sure there is a variable that Relic can turn on or off called "infantry crush" that is independent of the other "crush" properties. In short, it's not a bug and not every vehicle can do it.
Wolverines are the crusher of choice, so that is my guess!

This is actually one of the few things that work properly against OKW.
This "feature" makes the t34 at least a little efficient against shreckblobs.

Don't blob your schreck squads. Form a circle a schrecks, so when your enemy tries to crush you, only one squad can be pushed while the others are firing.

Yep, any medium tank as T34 or Wolverine will pancake your blob if it gets cought between the tank and an ambient object like a wall

This plus SU-76 can drive inf over as the only light. Not like anyone ever would use it anyway.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Nothing sweeter than a T34 bulldoze ram through a blob of grens, especially when you get those glitch-out physics calculations where you seen a gren being thrown across semoskiy into a building

Inf, by default, try to avoid being run over (obviously). But as mentioned, when caught between the tank and a world object, a crush can occur. It can easily occur in the open as well, as demonstrated in Von Ivans video, simply do a fast turn in the right direction, and bam, you have yourself a crush. It works well with M10s, Jacksons and Panthers. Although, I have done it with a couple of heavys too. Sometimes, the game just cant react fast enough if you are giving the tank lots of move commands into/towards a blob, and thus the infantry dont get out of the way fast enough. Takes a little skill, and a little luck to make it happen.
