Which units n abilities have never been OP ?

From alpha-beta to now. Which unit haven't got it's minute of fame?

Example: Hoorah (used to be free and then only 5muni), Rapid Conscription used to give Penals and Radio Intercept used to tell you when mines/bunkers were constructed.

Irregulars, partisans, T34(not ram), penals, PTRS, vehicle detection, Brummbar, KV-1, SU-76, M-42 AT gun, ML-20, AT gun camo, pretty much 50% of what soviets can do.

Every single ost unit except Brummbar was OP at one time for comparison, osttruppen included.

When it comes to OKW, only sturmtiger and IR HT.

USF pretty much like soviets, stuart, RETs, fighting positions, sherman, wolverine, PACK howi, HMG, M-20, both pathfinders, so again about 50% of what they can do.

Edit: took me too long to respond. I guess i should clarify that they doesn't neccesarily need to be OP, more like having something controvertial.

-Su76 weren't they "useful" during alpha or beta?
-I'll say ram is included on the performance of the T34. Ram all the tanks! 100% crit!
-45mm At gun was OP for those 3 days FHQ was broken and OP :P
-Brummbar: not OP level but used to be reliable to 1 shot At guns with ground fire.
-RET: volley fire OP.
-Sherman HE OP
-Pack Howi vet 2 OP
-2x IR Pathfinders can at least nuke OKW trucks :P
-M3s Scout cars used to be the almighty clowncars, it's weird you don't remember that.

Well it's not like artillery officer was ever OP, so Brummbar isn't the only unit :P Also, RET was kinda OP when volley fire was so strong.

Was on edge with volley(just like ram didn't made T34 OP). And yea, forgot arty officer.

You probably do not remember recrewing MG42 with arty officer of old, right?

Tiger Ace has NEVER been OP!

In all seriousness Command P4, 82MM mortar, Zis, Ostheer Sniper, 222, M10, and pretty much what Katitof said save for REs. The Volley fire was pretty bad.

On the same sense, i could say that Penals crewing MG42 were strong, since they had huge DPS :P

-82mm had "OP" precision strike (it used to had damage modifiers).
-Zis: i guess tracking OP since they had to nerf it :O
-222: maybe vet2 + optics OP. I can't decide if the veterancy or the spotting scopes are the "problem".

Maybe it had been lost on the edit so i'll change the question a bit.

Which unit/ability didn't had at least SOMETHING really useful, even if it was so niche or last for so few time.

I'll say tanktraps, AI mines, trenches from the defensive commanders.

I would actually use them more if they didn't take so long to build. There is no reason it should take longer than an s-mine patch to plant.

They nerfed it around WFA release. Coincidentally, USF 57mm has focused sight -psuedo tracking-. Id like to believe it was simply replaced for #design, since the ZiS was one of the least complained units at the time.

2cm flak emplacement :foreveralone:, MG34, normal barbed wire, OKW mini howitzer, 76mm Zis?, Easy8 (It´s cost was too low, the unit itself is OK) Stug G

Haha good old times, just ram all tiger 3 times with t34 and drop some IL2 bombs or 152mm artillery.. Or just button with guards + IL2 bombs. Such cheese :D Specially in 4v4 noobstomps late game soviets rammed tigers like hell, like 6 times in a row.

one of my favorite units: ostheer sniper
poor fellow will forever be in the shadow of his soviet counterpart, no matter how fast he fires or how good his cloak is, because its the only 1-entity-infantry unit in the game
its a great unit but sooo risky to use
