this tank has op written all over it.. it 1 shots cons squads easliy.. requires no tech and cost 5 more fuel then a t70..and with a t70 you must spend 170 fuel to tech i dont no how many game ive lost do to this unit clearing my squads in 1 shots and 2 shots for 75 fuel.. it lets ostheer players win games they should loose because they go straight to tiger call in after... it also has a ridiculous rate of fire and can stun any tank with its special... it just ridiculously cost effective..

I won't deny it's in a nice place right now; but it is also fairly fragile.

1 AT rifle grenade, 2 bazooka shots and its dead. M20 mines will blow it up to hell. As soviets one AT grenade and and finish it off with guards. It's a very good units IMO, but not over-performing.

Keep in mind that most of the balance problems are because of meta and other balance issues, not the unit itself. For example if Jackson does not under perform versus tigers, This doctrine would not be that much of a problem.

Building at guns was never an option.

The Stug E is much slower and does not have a turret like the t70, also from the tech you have done to get the t70 you have other options, but if you don't tech and go for a Stug E you don't have that options at all.

It was never seen before it was buffed and now you see it sometimes in 1on1 & 2on2 Games.
It's impact is only high, when the opponents refuses to build AT weapons.

The wiping problem is something that occurs to all factions since the new unit grouping was introduced. In my opinion relic needs to fix that before any aoe ai weapons are hit with the nerf hammer.

The damage output is kinda over the top, however, since ostheer's early game (especially vs USF) is so f*cked up, you most of the time can't affort teching up so this doctrine is one of your last hopes.

I don't think it is OP. Again, it is the cover system. The blobbed up squad just begs for a wipe. Stug E dies very fast, I mean, I have killed it with rushing Cons and AT nades.

Just get an AT-gun. If you already have a medium tank you have the advantage over him since Ostheer isn't the kind of faction which has 3 tanks on the field you have to fear.

And may I give an argument I have seen in the Scott thread: We can nerf it when Ostheer early game is fixed.

i think it's ok. whatever you do though, don't try and counter it with bazookas.

At gun, at gun, at gun... Nothing more.
I find this doctrine as little OP because you don't have to tech. Just get Pak40 and that's all.
It has everything you need.
Early game close combat infantry, PzGrens in transporter (this is awesome, drive behind enemy lines and wipe all crew weapons), Stug, Off map arty, Tiger.
It has everything you need. I think there is no other so useful and complete doctrine.

All you need to do is to switch tech cost with building cost but I think it's too hard for relic to do this :foreveralone:

Its really effective, yes. But, 1 good micro'd AT gun can shut it down fairly easy. The problem is that most USF players dont get the AT gun /captain tier. That is why its so effective imo

its OP right now due to Ostheer "call-in no-teching"commander. Other than that its a fragile tank.

Doesn't this apply to a lot of soviet doctrines? Are they op too? Or is it op only because it's Axis?
