Jackson needs a slight buff

I feel like Jackson might need a slight buff so it 100% guarantee kills a walking stuka in one shot.

Jackson currently does not kill a stuka with one shot, but it should. Its the whole idea with such a tank like jackson, hit and run.

What do you think?

It's not about Jackson. It's about Stuka. Why PzWerfer and katy have 160hp and Stuka has 320?
I would love to see penetration 260-240-220 and 160dmg or 240-220-200 and 200dmg.
Less rng.

If my Kat can die from 1 hit from a panther than Stuka should die from 1 hit Jackson.

It costs significantly more and comes from a fuel starved faction. It has also a lower range, means it needs to be nearer to the battlefield where it can be easily sniped by a tank dive.
Once the first stuka comes out, you won't see a second one soon, since the fuel income is lower.

But yes op, please give the Jackson 320 dmg per shot so it becomes a fast Elefant with a turret.

It costs 15 more fuel on a faction that gets the building which produces it basically for free.
The "starved" faction that for some reason have cheapest tiering in game and being able to get some of fastest and most powerful stock armor in game.

And yes, Walking Stuka got too much HP compared to all other mobile arty.

Jackson has its problems, but give how it shuts down Ostheer T3, I don't think it needs buffs currently.

It'd be like buffing the Ost panther because it nullifies Soviet T3, oh wait.

It needs a pen buff, because it's absolute shit against anything that isn't a medium tank.

Not even saying a huge pen buff, it's a 240dmg cannon a slight buff to make it a tad bit more consistent, as it is it fails more than it succeeds, the supposed turreted super squishy tank destroyer can't destroy tanks and it's a drain of resources on any other role.

Its main antagonist (the OKW panther) simply laughs at it, its function is more that of giving the panther vet since it can't chase it because of shot blockers/panzerschrecks/pak43/raketen whatever, can't penetrate it at vet 2 (unless HVAP is used, but there lies the problem, you need penetrations to get experience) and even if you are in a good spot to kill the panther it just needs vet 1 to activate the afterburners and go at incredible speed with a ridiculous -50% received accuracy bonus, it's just silly.

I feel the jackson should simply be replaced with the M10 as stock US TD with some minor buffs too it like turret rotation this way late game they scale by sheer numbers of 2 or 3 combined with a nerf to shrecks and actually adding side armor would work quite well I believe

problem is the Jackson is mostly balanced for OBK but not for OST tier 3 which renders it almost obsolete as is and buffing it will only make it worse.

that change would make it worse vs units like the IV and better against units like the V...
