i accept the RNG that comes from projectiles like at guns and tanks more than small arms fire. atleast the involved outcome is clearly visible. If there was a minor obstruction that blocked the shell you can see it, if a shell kills lots of infantry you can see how the shell landed in just the perfect spot (its still a random lucky shot, but it happened), and being able to see all this you can decide how risky you want to be when positioning your stuff.
when infantry are figthing eachother thats when i feel like its pure just RNG and sitting around, its hard to tell exactly what each soldier is shooting at, if its hitting, how the terrain is helping or hindering etc etc. Sometimes your infantry seem to be spot on with their aim and you rip stuff up, other times they seem to jsut be shooting in to space and you have to frantically click on your targets and your preferred cover to try and encourage the outcome you want.

In one game an airborn assault strafed my ambulance killing it and about half the four infantry squads near it almost instantly before one of the planes was shot down by a nearby AA half track. It landed on a half health IS-2 being repaired by 2 engineers and a vehicle crew from a nearby Jackson. The IS-2, engineers, vehicle crew, and Jackson all went up in the ensuing fireball. Then the falshimjagers landed...

Not happened to me, but I've seen a whole squad of paras being one shotted by rokettenwerfer.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Plenty of one shotting and getting one shotted of full health grens and pgrens with T-34s. I've noticed if the grens are close to a wall or building that the shell hits there is a better chance the squad will wipe.
Constantly have a single German model run straight through a deathball of 20 guns firing at him and making it out.

Ok, In a single match, I have lost a whole full HP Pfuz with 1 t34/76 hit, in yellow cover. And in the same game my Flak base shot down 2 enemy planes on my Panther. 2 times, right after I've repaired it, the other got shot down and crashed on it again (4v4 steppe). I don't even want to talk about grenades.
This one-shot problem is a pain in the arse for all 4 factions.

I've also had german mortar one shot full health squad wipe moving cons.
Still remember the map, still remember the spot. The crater looked like a perfect spot to hump each other on the way to victory point.
Thou that rng is what makes CoH2 what it is.
Without it, its just recolored C&C or SC aka outdated, boring, repeatable gameplay.
