Relic please make reconnect possible

It happens not that often to really start a rage because of this topic but sometimes it happens in my 2 on 2 AT that either I or my team mate gets a disconnect after let's say 30-40 minutes just because someone of us has had a disconnect for about 2-3 seconds.
When this happens the other one has to play with the AI and probably gets a loss.
In EVERY other game it's possible to attempt a reconnect when somebody gets a disconnect.
Why isn't it possible in CoH2?
I think many people would enjoy this.

It wont happen since they have problems with implementing lobby and chat rooms, but it should be possible with battle servers.

The amount of overhead at the servers associated with making reconnection possible doesn't make this a feasible feature. It's not scalable.

At least implement the lag grace thingy from (like in vCoH) so that you don't actually disconnect right away.

It's not really possible without a major overhaul, which is unlikely. Relic would have to implement a resume-from-replay feature and then store a history of commands for every game running on a server so when a player reconnects they're sent all of the commands they missed and are able to essentially re-play the game automatically up to the current point in time. I can pretty much guarantee you they will never do this.

Even SC2, which has resume-from-replay, doesn't have a reconnect option because it's just not practical within the network framework used by modern RTS games.

But how about that lag grace thing we had back in vcoh? It would help a bit on those random internet hiccups. Why isn't that at least in coh 2...

Related, but what would be a brilliant feature is a "temporarily enable AI" feature for when real-life events demand attention in team games, so you can head off to deal with the problem and then come back to the game without letting team mates down.

How do you know it's not in CoH2? It was in beta, just because it's not being displayed doesn't mean it isn't being recorded internally. I doubt they would drop you from the game the moment you get a minor connection hiccup.

This is 2016 and still need this feature really bad. The amount of sudden disconnects are really high, specially for me. Even though I have internet I get disconnected in the middle of an automatch.
