For starters they should remove that stupid two-shots insta-destroy-ATguns.

I could bear if it killed the crew, but also destroying the AT is ridiculous.

Yeah, but read the post above mine, it was being compared to a coh1 King Tiger, which worked in a similar way, not a normal Tiger.


@Greeb, maybe its a tad harsh killing AT guns so easily, but not by much IMO, think about the price of the units. There is a replay where Price killed an Ace easily with 3-4 AT guns, when the tiger went for his base they were all sat there reinforcing, it got forced off easily, then he chased and killed it with ZiS blob. KV8 saw to any inf.


Also IS2 can 2 shot AT guns, and thats a lot cheaper.

Funny thing though I seem to see less Aces now than pre-patch. Might be random ofc.

My impession is its both as common and as seldom as before. Thats sort of what random means.

It seems that this is a issue about good ATgun placement instead of ATgun raw power.

Usually a Tiger Ace should deal easily with 4 ATguns, because unless it has been perfectly ambushed (like in that replay you quote), only 1 or 2 could shot at the same time. And the current Tiger Ace is a more defensive unit, due to the 10 min resource penalty, than the previous patch's one.

I don't see anymore Tiger Aces charging against my base as before, unless they don't have VPs.
Now they're much more conservative and cautious. More dificult to set traps like the one you told.

Make it a vanilla vet 3 Tiger with the Tiger Ace skin; give Troop Training a longer cooldown.

Why not move Troop Training to the T4 building and make it non doctrinal? It would be interesting to see how that plays out.

They won't do that. Troop Training is part of a DLC commander and because people have spent money on them they won't remove abilities from them.

They'll edit abilities/units' CP costs and how they work, but nothing else.

I think the Tiger Ace should be repleaced with a King Tiger, it would be more unique and awesome. It must be slower, better armor than the Tiger Ace.

Resource wise I think it should cost some mp and some fuel I say(500 maybe) and stop all income for like 10 minutes except ammo, because the tank needs ammo for it's abilities.

300 max; even 290 was too much for the ISU-152, which thankfully was knocked down to 260.

The Tiger II wouldn't make much sense in the setting because the multiplayer game is meant to play in 1943 from what I know (correct me if I am wrong). The Tiger II didn't enter war before 1944. Not that I wouldn't like to have a Königstiger!

this unit still is completly broken as it can 2 shot Zis and destroy ennemy HQ is no time. total map control doesnt save u from beeing anihilated by 1 unit. if u dont have anything to RAM it or mines on the patch to ur HQ,i dont see how to survive to this...

its "fun" they said

Agreed that Tiger Ace makes no real sense for this game. Effectively a boss unit, which is extremely hard to balance. It should at minimum cost resources to deploy.

Which makes it a sure call in every damn game you play against a Elite Troops commander.

If you play against people with ISU152, Tiger, Elefant and such, there's always the possibility that you didn't see any of those tanks because they're really expensive.

Tiger Ace, on the other hand will always appear, which contributes to give him that feeling of Final Boss.

I know that you get no income, but there is no barrier to income as it should be. That is the point of the income gate.
