Vickers HMG able to shoot beyond its shooting range ?

I've just played a game where a Vickers where in a house and it was shooting beyond its shooting range, why is it possible ????

It's the UI.

When you select the garrison, the indicator starts in the middle of the building as opposed to be on the window the MG is located.

So that's poor game design and missleading for the players.

Why wasn't it solved after all these years ?

it might also be using the vet 1 ability that increases range...

A quick tip. If you select the unit inside the garrison rather than the garrison itself, it will display the correct range.

yupp. this is it. when you click the building it shows the arc from the centre point of the building, but since the mg is in a window, its closer to the edge. click on the unit in the building garrison slot to see the actual range and keep ion mind the vickers has an ability that increases the range a bit!
