This 200 munitions ability generates a Conscript squad for every 6th infantry casualty on the field while the ability is active

This just shows how little this is actually used. You don't get conscripts, you get Penal Batallions :|

Nice guide, looks like a solid strategy.

As a reaction, maybe more players will invest in heavy artillery (leFH18, Panzerwerfer 42, Mortar halftrack) to counter snipers, and heavy tanks (elephant, panther) to counter su-85 instead of just going for the usual P4s.

Ya looks like a solid build from which to use SRC from again. Haven't found a good one since the patch came out.

Great guide Siberian. Well written... would you mind adding some replays illustrating the execution?

Nice job Sibby. It is a guide for a strategy that really helps people develop that all importance skill of map awareness. These 3 hard counters really require perfect placement to assist one another to achieve the best results. Well done! :)

The pleasure's all mine, thank you to all of who have supported me and spent the last few months playing CoH with me either with me or through my stream. I hope this guide helps those who may be struggling a little with Soviets and maybe even give those more experienced players some insight. Thank you Ami, thank you Noun (you really shouldn't flatter me like that), thank you Hans, thank you Stephen, thank you to the rest of you!

Great guide!

One comment about Trip Wire Flares: I haven't seen them used very often, but I'm fairly sure that they kill a single infantryman when detonated. This is a reasonable trade-off for 10 munitions, especially late game. I would definitely pay that much to kill a vet 2/3 Grenadier or Panzergrenadier. I wonder how effective it would be to spam Trip Wire.

But how am I supposed to win any games as Soviets without building the best unit in COH 2?
