The way I see it, if you want to be able to use your trucks in this manner then go for it. However right now the risks involved are minimal, focus firing the truck when there is a squad of sturm pios bearing down on you is a terrible opening strategy and a sure fire way to lose the first engagement. As of now, there is no reasonable way to counter this so early in the game. Either reduce the truck's armor (or HP), delay the truck for a minute, or make truck damage carry over into building damage. If you messed up your truck trying to push infantry, then you should have done it better or not tried it at all. Either way OKW should take on some form of increased risk for using this exploit. There is always a sweet spot on used cards price/performance. I believe right now the best deal that can be had is on a used hd7950 or 7970. You absolutely can't get a better deal than one of those cards for $150 or on occasion even less. Best deals are on ebay. |

Sounds like the de-facto trade off of the faction design. You gain the opportunity to have a Forward position at the cost of increased risk. If you also want the ability to have a unit that can significantly impact the first engagement(s), more risk should be leveraged. In: COH2 Balance |

Ahh, I see a simple solution. If you're scared of that happening, don't push squads with the truck. Sounds like the risk you take to me. As I haven't really encountered the push much, I don't see it as a huge issue. However it seems logical that if you were "totally retarded" with your truck, you deserve a damaged building. So why was katitof's suggestion to make damage carry over to the building dismissed? I think he made it relatively clear that the okw truck != pioneers. It sounds like a good compromise (as using the truck in this manner is already at risk to m3s and the like). In: COH2 Balance |

My best advice is (if you are concerned at all about your ranking) to stop automatching 3v3 and 4v4. I have found that talent on both sides wildly varies. You absolutely never know what/or who you will get. Arranged team games are a thousand times better in my experience. In: Strategy Desk |
