I think it's fairly easy to say that relics idea of history is completely off road and makes no sense and is borderline nazi propoganda. It's not only an insult to russians , it's pretty much all out slander to anyone who fought in ww2. The difference between games that bash nazis or someone else is because nobody claims they are historically accurate. Nobody claims wolfenstein is historically accurate, however relic devs when confronted about why their portrayal of WW2 is so flawed, answered pretty much this : - Our game is historically accurate, we are sorry you don't like it. For some reason i fear that the USA campaign will be a kind of "America fuck yeah" style of campaign, which will make this old wound to probaly start bleeding again. In: COH2 Gameplay

Basically they got nerfed at the range they were slightly actually good at (point blank shootouts). While their mid range DPS was increased slightly. Problem is, close range is still the only range they can win a fight, so, yes, they were nerfed. Not to mention that the increased incoming accuracy and mosin nagant mid range buff makes conscript PPSH completely useless. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Are you taking a break from the CoH2 title?15 Sep 2014, 13:08 PM I'm not leaving coh 2, i will still play it, basically because it's the only proper WW2 rts out there with a decent mutliplayer scene. However i too would have preferred if the game stayed on the eastern front, and relic continued to refine and improve the old factions. After all, this is what made coh 2 so special and amazing for me, even tho it was incredibly unbalanced at time. The eastern front. I know this is not the popular opinion but that's just me expressing how i feel atleast. In: COH2 Gameplay

The reason i said wikipedia is unreliable is because pretty much everyone can edit it and fill it with whatever stuff they want. What´s the point? That sloped armor on T-34s proved ineffective as soon as 75mm/L43 and 48 guns were mounted on most German vehicles. Concepts get copied all the time and the Panther improved on the T-34s flaws (radio, cupola, gun, amount of armor) rather than totally copy it. The concept of sloped armor was good - but that doesn´t make the whole T-34 design top notch. Germans used everything they could get their hands on. That includes Czech 38ts, French Hotchkiss, Somua etc. etc. Some somewhat useful tank is better than none at all. And the T-34s they actually captured and used were modified with cupolas etc. to get rid of their flaws. I'm fairly sure that the T-34 did have radios, atleast the later versions, and the t-34s gun was more than enough all the way until the arrival of tigers. And the T-34 was more armored than the PIV, and i believe the t-34 did have a commander cupola, atleast the later versions of it. And like i said, even US aberdeen tests aknowledged that the optics of the t-34 were of very good quality. And i'm not saying that the t-34 design was top notch, you are the one saying it was apparently a horrible tank. In: COH2 Balance
