You coin dota2, cs:go and starcraft as games that balance for top players but thats only true to an extent. I'm L.eagle rank in cs:go, I definitely enjoyed the balance changes to the weapons back in 2013, im definitely not top 200. Dota2, not sure on my rank but I was top 1% of players when the stats all got leaked last year, I definitely benefited from the recent patch changes (-lone druid aghanims buff ), I'm definitely not top 200. I'm a big silver rock star Starcraft professional though so ill not comment on that. Fact is, game needs to be balanced for people who know how to play it reasonably well, that is a lot more then the top 200 and it definitely does not just include AT. I agree the stats are skewed but in 3v3 and 4v4 there is an inbalance and it does effect people who are good enough to legitimately complain about it. Thing is, top 200 is actually not a very high rank for 1v1. I'd rate top 200 as average/above average players, because of coh 2s very low playerbase. Yes, coh 2 should be balanced for people who know how to play it reasonably well. I'd say that anyone in the x <500 range generally knows how the game works This is strictly speaking for 1v1 though. In 2v2+ the matchmaking is just a catastrophy so you could have some top 10 player stuck in 10000 ranks in randumbs Also , leaderboards, relic plz In: COH2 Balance
Thread: CAS Axis cmrd is by far the best cmdr for team games (3vs3+)7 Jul 2015, 12:33 PM A good way to nerf CAS but still let it be a viable commander is to 1. Double the cooldown of the conversion ability so you can't constantly spam it to spam planes everywhere 2. Move the conversion cost to 5-6 CP so you can't get 6 LMG grens in 10 minutes 3. Lower the conversion rate to 120 munitions. I'd say options 1 and 2 would be enough. Alternitavely you could nerf the conversion rate but i think that that's not the best option. In: COH2 Balance

The pershing along with the calliope does exist. They are in game units, and they have defined stat values. Pershing seemed to be quite balanced as a heavy, calliope though, But i doubt it that the calliope will make it in game like it was in the alpha. In: Lobby

Thread: Pershing ? 6 Jul 2015, 16:06 PM People keep talking about angling tigers like it was some super awesome feature that no other tanks ever had. And while the tigers strong side armor allowed it to angle its armor, and therefore let it still remain a relatively well protected heavy tank even late in the war, this isin't something special. For example, the t-34 could also be angled, more so than the tiger, because the t-34s side armor was almost just as strong as it's frontal hull armor. Which means that angled at 45 degrees it would become very tough. Same thing can't be said for the panther and sherman, however, because their weak side armor meant they could not be angled effectivelly. And honestly, i don't see a problem with the pershing. Whether the pershing is OP or not will depend on what else the doctrine has to offer. If the doctrine is pershing + some more lategame orientied abilties but no early game boosts, then it will be fine. Knowing relic it will probaly be rangers, calliope, pershing, LMG rifles and butterfly bombs from AA all in 1 doctrine In: Lobby

Nice to see Katitoff spreading Soviet biased information. Those russian tests are bullshit and known to be adjusted into the soviets favor. Alone the title: "70 years of victory" coupled with a red flag and fist should give you enough information who posted that data. It's as simple as that. The 85mm gun had around 100mm of armor penetration at 1000m. And what's exactly wrong with russian testing? Those are wartime tests, and the author of the site is just simply posting them on the internet. The t-34/85 and su-85 was a direct response to counter the german tigers, and it did it's job reasonably well. In: Lobby
