Thread: Balance Preview Update 09/08/20158 Sep 2015, 21:01 PM Relic, still waiting for camo fix on JP IV. It can dissapear in the middle of nowhere, during battle, surrounded even by 3 tanks. The biggest problem is that tanks aiming at JP IV are force to switch to next target and when JP fires, they are switching again, just to see how it dissapears and to switch again to something else. The concerns about snipers vs Brits are still there, the oppressive late game is still there, the OTT commando damage is still there and many issues that were raised during the alpha that from my perspective haven't been addressed. Dont get me wrong, Relic do great job right now but most of those things were raised during alpha and nothing has been done to fix them so right now we have something like open beta instead of complet version which needs only small tweaks. It's not like the Pak43 has been out of meta for ages since artillery proliferation became a thing. Zooks got a price reduction to make them easier to get in more plentiful numbers, and the PTRS has AI utility the Shrek does not. Outside of RNG snipes all the factions are now on a much more level playing field than they ever were before. Axis (especially OKW) has to fight a lot of armor. And are you implying British units do not have good armor? Also you do know that the the Pak40 only has 10 more pen than the ZiS gun does right, and the Rackten has the same penetration as a ZiS gun. You are hopleless here. No point of keeping it. Im showing how your logic is invalid and broken and you tell me that pak43 is out of meta, while it has nothing to do with it. Best at guns belong to axis yet they face paper armor for which is impossible to bounce Pak shell or even schreck (chance to bounce for E8 is just pure laught). Yet you say that IS should not have 45 because it's not facing 60 range, but you dont want to apply that logic to axis units. Im saying about paper armour, you about amount of tanks. Again, you just jump around the point. On the other hand bazooka and 57mm with bad penetration must face a lot bigger armour. Yes, zis is good but still worse. Im not saying nerf axis at, buff allied. Im saying how your logic is defined for axis on this one. Plus, I dont take brits into this, because they are still during beta process. The only medium in the game that can bounce normal AT gun shots is the OKW PIV and the Comet. Although arguably the Comet belongs in the same "Heavy" category as the Panther. Missing the point. Best AT Guns belong to Axis. Pak40 is best one mobile but you still have access to pak43 yet why would you if you are dealing with paper armor? Same for handheld AT. If you are not facing huge armor why would you have best AT? Same logic for IS not facing so often 60 range units. Im not saying it should have 45. Im just pointing your axis invalid logic. Not facing 60 range - no need for 45. Facing paper armor 9/10 cases - no need for best at. In: Lobby

According to such logic, allies should have best AT Guns because they are dealing with highest armor. But Hey, best at guns belong to axis despite they are dealing with paper armour most of the time. (I can live with KT but vet 2, 56 range Tiger? Damn...) Do you think about fixing some old commanders which became useless after so many changes during last year? In first place, I have on my mind soviet industry with KV2 which is really useless, like the whole doctrine + 2 repairing abilities for ammo (its like giving CAS 2 different recons). The downside is not great enough to justify the upside. The longer cooldown will fix this dynamic. Two things can be made for the same purpose but still be different. Emplacements are buildings. The OKW trucks are comparable to emplacements. Being unable to use them during brace is already a big thing. You can use that time to clear all units around and then focus on emplacement. I ve never said they are the same. They are similar. IS2 and Tiger are late game heavy generalist made for same purpose, they are similar but not the same. Emplacements are units. Easiest way to find it out is to see which can vet up. Only units can. Can you make use of OKW trucks in base? Sure. Can you make use of brits emplacements in base? Not really. So there you go. 2 differences between buildings and emplacements which are immobile units. In: COH2 Balance
