Thread: Hull Down13 Oct 2015, 12:10 PM It can be used only on your own tanks. For example you cannot hull down OKW Panther. Don't know about captured tanks. Did not try it. Once I had great game on Minsk. Elephnat, Ostwind and Command Pz 4 covering middle VP. All hulled down. No way to break it Still, hulled down Panther can laught at SU85, FF or Jackson. Thread: lets talk about medium tanks vs schrecks (AGAIN) 13 Oct 2015, 09:49 AM Schrecks on Volks was really stupid design from the beggining. You cannot give most powerful handheld AT to the cheapest infantry which will gain vet 5 in a blink of an eye because of schreck. It was fine on PzGrens. It could be fine on SP (Volks could receive other upgrades). But schreck on Volks is like 1919 on buffed, 5men RE since 4th min mark. You cannot put late-game upgrades on the cheapest infantry. ___ Sure, you can put 1919 or RE but they are squishy and they don't get good veterancy buffs, opoosite to volks. ___ It's not about countering but about general design. + countering very often has nothing to do with it. Pathfinding is the main reason most of the time. In: COH2 Balance

RTS games are dead. There are games (game) like SC which are, at least for me, very boring. There are games like Blitzkrieg/CoH which keep playerbase not becasue they are awesome but because they are about WW2. I took a break form CoH2 and switched to other games but not RTS becasue there are none. But when I look back, my god... Cossacks 1, Battle for Middle earth, Warlord Battlecry III, Age of Empires. Damn awesome RTS. Yet currently, 15 years after Cossacks 1, we don't have ANY rts which would be so huge and complicated like cossakcs 1. In: Lobby

They are tank destroyers, not medium tanks, and you directly said about troubles with medium tanks (T34, Shermans) not tank destroyers. Still, against TD you need nothing more than Pak40 to back you Pz4. In: COH2 Balance

All I remember is that everyone said it is OP! Also to change it a bit I recommended that you need line of sight to use it and not just click in the FoW. But Relic didnt change anything, pls ask Kyle_RE why... Wasnt it during alpha completly different? First MGs strafe, then rockets and then, in the end bombing strike? Now it's just bombing strike. Then you need to cost 100/45 + 260/75 = 360/120 to get to BP3, so it costs ostheer another 120+175=295fuel to get a panther which is so expensive. While the new brits faction costs only 200MP/50fuel to tech up to heavy tier after they get a cromwell,then build a comet or churchill. Much cheaper than the ost. Almost nobody will go to T4 directly skiping T3. Because it's too risky to tech up to get a panther which can only provide AT power when you need some AI power to control the map. What? Only needs 2 of them That insane amount of late game USF AT Jackson, E8, Hellcat, Jumbo, Pershing Just look at OKW. Nothing. Only JP IV, Panther, Command Panther, King Tiger, Jadgtiger and Pak43 I could say that JPIV is enough to take out almost every piece on allied armor Yet there are many other options.
