New emplacement commander is a disease. Can't be countered in 2v2s and up.
Let me explain...
Once you try to use indirect fire to take out their emplacements they just counter barrage you, walk At guns up to said indirect units or infantry and force a retreat. Oh and if you had static defences setup they'll hq arty (FREE, no munitions required for this gem) the crap out of them rendering your defences useless.
Anyone that says emplacements are fine right now are either low level ranked or extreme allied players.
1v1s is more balanced though. |

This happens when the game gets patched. The old version isn't available anymore for replays but you can go to "Set Launch Options" in Coh2 steam properties and enter "-allowIncompatibleReplays" and that should allow you to watch old replays regardless of what version your replays used. |

The Tiger is really there to soak up damage and punish infantry.
Rarely can you tank battle with it because it's slow.
Once you get more comfortable with the tiger play you can do combined arms pushes that seem to be really effective but as far as standalone it's very vulnerable and expensive.
In otherwords, it's best not to venture too far out of FoW with it and always have sweepers handy.
If you tiger gets snared by a mine, it's hella slow and anti-tank gun candy because it becomes snail slow once snared. |
Get rid of or change Semoskiy. You can base lock way to easy on that map. |
Mines and bait, try luring the kv8 into your shreks.
9/10, if Soviet player see's a blob of shreks he'll chase with the Kv8, a well placed mine with cloaked racketens should finish that off.

What your proposing it just to mirror one another.
This would destroy the unique abilities each unit possesses.
Although I agree with you that the Sturmtiger shouldn't be able to fire into the fog of war, it should get debuffed in certain aspects not increase in costs.
It already comes out really late for let's be honest, blob counters. The fact that it's one shotting tanks is because players are letting there tanks sit literally on the front line just outside the FoW and not microing them.
This is the reason why people are getting punished so hard and it's such an issue. The shock value is high when this happens. |
