Probably because The m26 isn't a heavy tank, statistically, realistically, or at all.

It's a slow ass medium.
Which means no limit.
If it's gonna be like any thing, it'll be a USA panther thats much slower.
Or the counterpart to the British c(NDA ) which won't have limits either.

Well roughly in reality and in vcoh pershing was the counterpart of a tiger, it has basically same performance and spec (with the difference of 2mm in gun and sloped armour), in vcoh it had same stats and cost if I recall correctly. In fact it is much more similar to the tiger than its coh2 counterpart - IS-2. The only reason not to call it a heavy tank is a fact that it came in in 1945 so when the time of heavy tanks just ended. I'm pretty sure relic will call it heavy callin tank just like they did in vcoh.

As for British tanks: if you refer to churchil then it is more a counterpart of KV-1 so no limit is correct. If you refer to comet then it is a crusier tank that is more of a counterpart to panther than any heavy tank (fast, strong frontal armour, weak rear armour, 77mm gun and so on)

it will be funny when usa gets its beloved pershing. It will have to be limited as a heavy callin tank but if you leave it you will be able to call in another one Kappa. Or they can tie the limit to a vehicle on the field not an owned vehicle but then if your tank gets stolen its gg as you have no heavy and enemy has 2 so its even more stupid.

Your spec is ok. Card is mediocre for coh2 so it probably is a bottle neck but it should run the game on mid / high depending on your fps needs. System test is bugged and recommends lowest settings for most, if not all, configutations.

As for hdd itself there is no need to upgrade to SSD unless:
1. You are ok with defragmenting partition every patch.
2. You don't mind waiting a beat longer on the loading screen.

You can see if HDD is performing good enough for coh2 by playing a 4v4 on winter map. If there is no fps drop just at the beginning of a match (so that all other ppl can issue orders but you still wait for some data to load) then your hdd works fine. If there is a problem and defragmentation doesn't help you need SSD. SSD solves all disk problems of coh2, windows, and other programs (works much faster and needs no defragmentation) so I recommend it but if there is no need you should think if the price is worth the convenience. And if you want higher graphics settings you should rather invest money in GPU rather than disk. If you decide to stay with your HDD it would be best to create separate 25-30 GB partition just for coh2 so that defragmentating it after patch was quicker.

How to counter 120mm?

Same way you counter every indirect fire thing ever: stay mobile.

That also means you don't put your trucks in the middle of the map, and don't invest too hard in bunkers.

Sadly, at least 90% of players will never understand or learn this...

The 120mm is a hefty investment. If you are able to make it worthless for some minutes after its arrival you just outspam soviet player, its as simple as that.


Its also very important to understand that it's not true that guard motor or CAS are too powerfull. More that most other doctrines are worthless. We don't need more useless commanders: game needs buffs not nerfs.

I sometimes listen but yeah, you need to hear units voices so its really quiet.
