I recall watching a documentary about a full-strength panzer division being shuffled between southern Ukraine and Army Group Centre towards Moscow at his orders because there was tough resistance in Ukraine and, according to the producers/historians of whatever program I was watching, they believed that this panzer division could have helped cripple Moscow. The biggest issue with the invasion of the USSR was Hitler's and the Nazi's policy regarding slavs. Many people of ethnic minorities (or local majorities) in the western portions of the USSR greeted the Germans as liberators. Unfortunately, they were treated like the subhumans the Nazis perceived them to be. Treating them better would've reduced the amount of partisans in harassing German supply lines and potentially increased manpower available to the Germans. It's important to understand that this type of war on such a large scale was never fought in Europe before. Napoleon wasn't declaring his desire to annihilate a certain race of people. Thread: Gren 42 and G43 combo13 Jan 2016, 23:31 PM It would be weird to have a medium range and a long range weapon upgrade on one squad...although it makes them useful at all ranges (and even within 5m, LMG42 is still a buff to dps when compared to k98, I think). It used to be borderline OP (especially when using Jaeger Infantry Doctrine/ambush camo). I'm not sure how it would be now. Maybe G43s would be reverted to their original long range role and 60 muni? If i have the muni I would spend it on extra upgrades for my grens, for sure. In: COH2 Balance

When it comes to call-ins, the CPs may not match up for a good time in the game (Valentine), the units may be too expensive (these 250 halftracks, Mechanized Co. HT call in w/Assault Engineer), or they are not as powerful as a unit you could get at the same time (Stuart vs. M8 Greyhound). Some units need an HP buff (M8 Scott) or clearly defined roles (conscripts vs. Penals), or some abilities need to get their stats changed to align with what they do (USF 240mm artillery vs. German railway artillery) Making minor changes to a few units will do a few things like increase the chances of people buying dlc commanders that are mediocre or bad at the moment, but also introduce more differing but viable strategies/builds into the game. Relic already did this when they adjusted Captain price and Stuart HP; that's one example. In: COH2 Bugs

After all, a mortar round would be pretty hard to distinguish from a p47 rocket from inside, so the crew would probably run away just in case. Also, so long as we're at it we should implement random air supremacy/artillery shells throughout the game. To better capture the feeling of WWII. Oh and every penetrating shot should be a kill. We have players of various skill levels. We have some guys in the top 50 in 1v1/2v2 ranks, we have some guys in the upper 100s. We prefer friendliness and passion over skill. I'm a rather level-headed person and don't speak much on things I either don't know about or don't care enough about. But cheaters? Man, you ruin this game for the rest of everyone else. Exploiting bugs - Cuddletronic called it a "known issue" - for your own pleasure is deplorable. Like others said, you want to play allies v allies or axis v axis, do so in a custom game. People in automatch are, usually, playing to get a good ELO, to play competitive games on relatively balanced maps. Don't go around wasting people's time, pissing them off, or being an asshole. If you want to be an asshole, do it in real life. Doing it over the internet is just a sign of immaturity. Grow up.
