OKW stays true to its theme of having less medium and heavy armor, but that armor being very good.
You can spam lights as much as any other army.
If relic wanted to delay tanks they should introduce some 50FU upgrade similar to british Hammer/Anvil otherwise we are agan getting to situation whne loosing single vehicle in early in tank combat is GG for OKW.
Don't worry, they have said they are considering side upgrades for OKW.
To bear in mind the OKW P4 with Armoured Skirts is better than the Wehrmacht P4, and the OKW Panther has a higher rate of fire. Doesn't it make sense for these tanks to cost more when they are stronger?
OKW Panther also have better MGs and I believe accuracy as well.
And people should stop shitting themselves over the cost, relic clearly explained there that cost increase is NOT because of performance, but because of timing and ease to bring the armor out.
And gain 5 fuel.
Plus, OKW have no menpower problems at all, which was proven recently.
And its not an effective combat unit. USF has its troubles against this, but why would you not use rear echelons to defend a cutoff or fuel against it? Build a tank trap --> green cover --> he needs more than just a kubel to harrass.

Its fuel free vehicle, its quite clear that its light support, capper and scout only.
At first they were stronger, they march deployment patch came and their profile was changed from long rage overlapping with LMG, to short mid range with excellent FOTM accuracy, since that time they had lower long range DPS then Kars.
He didnt push me back... I had 2 VP's, one fuel...Then all his infantry rush in the base...he might known about this bug and kept it like plan B. After all, is not about L2P or not, is about the fact that u can't do this against all other factions (USF and UKF for exemple have much more stronger defenses). If all base defenses where like this, that whould not be a problem for me. OKW flak defenses should not be stolen by the enemy. It's a very big price to pay.

It was never a bug and was an option since day 1, before it was even easier, because you could snipe the crew.
Also, all other factions can't rely on base defences vs light vehicle base rushes.
If that was his strat, kudos for him for taking the risk and now you know what you might consider in the future.

No they do not perform much worse. Against Vehicles the the benefits that of more small arm DPS and received accuracy matter little and the extra man is counter weighted by the extra cost to buy, maintain and reinforce...
Again, reinforce difference is way to low to be meaningful here, it used to, but not anymore.
Its rifle AT nade that makes the performance difference real here.
Rets are cheaper to buy, costs of use and maintaining them isn't lower in any meaningful way, unless you compare impossible stuff like 10 rets vs 10 rifles.
The same way that OKW screcks don't matter because only V.G. can carry them, (this argument really makes sense). And actually you seem to forget Assault Engineers that can be upgraded with flamers....

Shrecks aren't doctrinal and belong to currently most cost effective squad in game.
I haven't forgotten about AEs, but AEs aren't a god example of cost effective unit and hardly one that is easy to preserve or maintain.
No EFA engineers simply have less utility making them less cost efficient and that is why they have a limited presence on the field..
EFA engies don't perform clost to T2 infantry while being first unit on the field, nor have access to weapon racks or good scaling.
EFA engies are almost exclusively repair/build/mine/cap bots while WFA and UKF engies are designed as actual combat support with actual combat scaling due to both, vet and weapon racks, therefore faction own mechanics support them heavily.
I dont know if is L2P issue or not, but i think that the OKW flak defenses should not be like this. It's a big price to pay if they get stolen: the enemy will destroy ur HQ immediately.
I wouldn't call 5 minutes of constant barraging "immediately".
But if you got pushed back so hard they he took over your defenses, thats one big fat L2P there.
