I thought they've reverted that. Well, only one more solid reason why NOT to use it then. There are pretty much only 3 units in game where it makes actual sense to use churchill. Its ele, JT and KT. No one is using it, because comet is better for the cost and can take on panthers and above. -Relic nerfs slightly comet, keeps the cost. -Relic nerfs churchill to 1400hp/280 armor and reduces cost. People use churchills as much as comets as one is damage sponge and can screen cost effectively for FF without costing and arm and a leg and another one does what it did before. -Relic nerfs anvil/hammer upgrade cost and increases the price of churchill in the process back to how it was when it had greater stats and no one was using it, because it was too expensive and inefficient compared to comet. -This thread appears, questioning if anyone is using nerfed churchills which cost as much as the first super durable incarnation (which wasn't used because it wasn't cost efficient enough), but all it does is feed exp to ATGs and deters meds at best. With it, T1 starts would simply explode. Give KV2 in exchange to defensive and urban tactics. Makes too much sense, won't happen. I also like how MG-42 at vet1 is better AT weapon then M-42. Can keep the slower ROF to account for nuggets versus superior G43s. Aaaaaactually, Mosins were superior to G43s and wehr snipers preferred Kar.98s to G43s. Plus it makes no sense when BOYS AT rife reloads faster and is on a sniper as well. If soviet sniper was to become 1 man, his sniping ability would have to be superior to both ost and UKF snipers. Why? Because soviet sniper doesn't have anything close to the combat utility of critical shot or incendiary squadwipe shot. But that won't happen, so you can theorycraft all you want. I honestly wonder if any of the more serious 2v2 players here think that emplacements are really ok. Take the maps Kharkov or Crossing in the Woods for example. I'd say that in regards to these maps the real issue is, they are in 2v2 map poll. Crossing is fine for 1s, but its way too small for 2s, didn't creator itself stated that the map is not intended for anything besides 1s somewhere? Pretty much the same for kharkov, way too narrow, always devolves into indirect fire fest, because map structure completely prevents any flanking attempts in 2s unless you pushed one of opponents already. Some maps just aren't suited for 2v2, but we have to play on them regardless. These two make Pripyat river look appealing as 2v2 option. In: COH2 Balance

Question 1: Does it mean the company or in this example, COH2, will come to a hold? - No, it's probably just some restructuring. Question 2: How much sense would it make to pump money into Esports (ESL), have Stormless and A_E casting in one of the official ESL studios and flying over to PC Gamer weekend? - It would absolutely make zero sense. Oh and yes, don't expect a total honest answer from Kyle on a random community forum. That's just not something a company does. This. Some people have put on their tinfoil hats a tad to tight. 10k recurring players on a daily basis. Ongoing ESL. Rework for certain systems in alpha on test server. And people go batshit crazy thinking the game is anywhere near end. Doomsayers like that are just braindead(yes Ciez, I will insult stupid people unprovoked, because I like calling things how they are-if they are too dense to see beyond random rumors, they are just that-idiots).
