Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

We are all freaking out about no handheld AT. An entire faction depends on no handheld AT in stock (Soviet army), another has no native snares on infantry and its AT is useless against light armor (Brits). We are going to test these changes, doesn't mean they are 100% definitely going to be how the game ends up in the future. You're surprised at the outcry? OKW had it effrotelessly easy to deny all light armor and good part of medium armor with little to no skill, right now they will need to build dedicated units and actually use their heads to position and bait, like UKF and Sov did since forever. Obviously panic is the only possible choice from OKW players and especially the fanboys(just look at mycalliope alone loosing it). There will be a lot of changes, a lot of new dynamics and synergies, we'll have to relearn at least 2 armies. Changes on this scale rarely happen. In: Lobby |

Can someone explain to me the significance of the making units spawn from buildings change? I don't really follow why that supposed to be a good thing. Quicker on field, possible better chance in fending off base rushes, speeds up very early game a bit by allowing units to arrive around 20-30 seconds faster where they should be. In: COH2 Gameplay |

Raketenwerfer still suck big ass and all its "features" greatly compinsated with its disavantages. *GASP!* You mean like you'll have to actually put down mines and maybe actually consider what opponent does and go for Puma, just like ost goes for 222, USF for stuart, UKF for AEC and sov for SU-76/T-70 to deal with early vehicle from opponent instead of spamming most op handheld AT weapon on most basic infantry that doesn't even require any side costs!? Its not supposed to stand up to them. The new Su-85 however is with penetration and vet ensuring reliable damage. Seriously, T-34 is not light car, it is tank. They must buff main cannon, not MGs, if they really want to make T-34-76 better. And best way was to change it to T-34-85, which is pretty good both against infantry and tanks. That's reliable tank for T4 soviet late, which will definitely make USSR better against heavy and superheavy axis tanks. Not really, the MG buffs are enough, the vet improves reload enough, decreased cost will allow you to more easily get more of them and together with new SU-85, they'll be more then enough to handle everything except super heavy TDs. You don't need to destroy them that early, either get 2nd one or wait for guards and put them inside. Kubel is pure cheeze, but soviets have everything it takes to hardcounter that early. In: COH2 Balance |
