On topic, flame werfer barrage isn't a bad idea, but if the Wher is waiting until T4 to have a counter, something is very, very wrong. Would rather see adjustments made to the emplacements themselves. So, taking that win rate, and considering the fact that people constantly bitch and whine to no end that UKF is op, that have to mean that exactly the same ost is also op equally In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Ostheer lategame needs a buff21 May 2016, 12:25 PM Ost late game got a buff... Read balance mod notes and play it. Also 1) Mortar halftruck. 2) So is UKF. Biggest bane of both were mines, nerfed in the mod. 3) That P4 is supported by exceptinally better AT then sherman or cromwell. 4) Panther is not supposed to fight directly vs tank destroyers or med tanks or AT guns, StuG is the default choice vs med tanks, infantry and indirect vs AT guns and non frontal charges vs TDs. Panther is supposed to counter high armor units and it excels at it, not being the no-brainer choice vs meds as 2 meds can and should beat it if you can't keep the distance and RNG in your favor. "Because they have less stock unit options then any other army" sounds like an answer to me. Cromwell is even better then PIV (which is more expensive), and have insane flanking capabilities and insane speed with vet. And P4 gets insane armor with vet and ability that allows it to warp away while shrinking its size at the same time(yes, blitz makes you harder to hit as well). Sure we can bring target size back, with cost increase or left it with new target size for same 110 fuel and it still well best medium in the game. Or leave it as it is, because while the tank is great in comparison to others, it needs to be in the context of the army its in. Main and only problem with it was crush and it was addressed. Also "weaker" Allies AT myth is only applyable to US AT gun. Both zis and brits AT gun and hell even zooks, can finish PIV just as quicly as PaK can finish cromwell. You do realize that brit 6 pounder is just copy of PaK40 and RoF is also important thing for AT guns and ZiS is last here? Or should we also address StuG target size and normalize it with SU-85, because there is no reason not to? In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Week 3 Update to the Balance Mod19 May 2016, 15:14 PM Jump back to quoted post19 May 2016, 14:56 PMPanzerGeneralForever Shrecks on Spios is a big difference than on volks. 4 man squad vs 5 means its way more vulnerable to explosives (just like Pgrens and grens), they are more expensive to buy and reinforce, and they lose ~25% of their firepower with the upgrade (especially since they nerfed dmg of handheld AT weapons vs infantry). I don't think Spio blobs will replace volks blobs. Most important thing which you missed: They can't be driven over, which was one of main volkblob counter. And 2nd most important, there is AT snare for OKW now as well. Spios shrecks+volk vause and StG means the potential for OPness is much greater then with volkblob alone as spios acc vet ensures shreck amazing long range accuracy and faust ensures vehicles constantly on the move in the opposing direction. In short, you have less shrecks, but incomparably more potent AT. In: COH2 Gameplay
