PTRS Penal at vet 3 have more DPS than penal vet 0 so they are not "next to useless against infantry". (psst, you're obviously right about 2/3 part, but other infantry will also have vet3 by that time, including received accuracy vet bonuses and weapon ugprades, so unless you play vs AI only and wipe each and every infantry squad, you are correct only on paper and only if not taking literally anything else into account but the squad itself) In: COH2 Balance

These are too annihilate by penals! Also AT satchel stays, without it they can't function as AT squad as any vehicle can just push them, PTRS are not 360 no scope insta shot shrecks that just burst your vehicles. In: COH2 Balance

As an AT tank, it has its own niche. Its not AI tank, its generalist tank. Its supposed to be middle grounb between cromwell and tiger/pershing and its not there. And if its like you said, aka "they don't listen", then what's the point of you even posting? Comet is a bad tank that was nerfed out of the game, its primary role, standing up to axis armor isn't cost effective post nerfs, its AI is pretty weak(only Panther is weaker) and a churchil + FF is always a better option then comet+anything or double comet. Cost reduction, fotm scatter buff, AoE buff, something is needed. In: COH2 Balance

Yes snipers need babysitting at the time when light vehicles reign supreme, but outside that timeslot they are actually somewhat safe and take a lot of effort, stealth and planning for the opponent to kill. Conversely, going double sniper and a-moving them around in groups does not really take much more effort than moving one sniper but has twice the impact and will force 4-man squads to immediately retreat or be wiped. I really see no point of making the snipers two man again as that would make them even less vulnerable to one of their best counters, the counter-snipe, and mean that they would be an even more low effort to maintain for most of the match. All other points aside, I don't think its a good design then most reliable counter to specific unit is that exact same specific unit from another faction. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Mainline infantry Doctrinal replacement22 Jan 2019, 20:41 PM Osttruppen swarmed the map with extremely short cooldown and very low cost. Somehow I don't see a 280mp unit swarming anything up. If you are not being overrun by rifles, you certainly won't be overrun by Assengies who arrive what? 20-30 seconds earlier then rifles and need to close the gap? In: Lobby
