Yeah, in case you are not experienced with how to properly counter emplacements, first you force brace, then pull back and 30 seconds later you come back and nuke it. Retreating units do not drop weapons on the ground and wait around until they get new ones, neither emplacement crew should reread the instruction on how to operate the weapon after ducking for a minute. And yes, it does have a benefit when its a lone commander skill. 1) You do NOT need any specific vetted unit around to use it. 2) Its a commander ability, you literally have no alternative if you don't pick it. It does not serve similar purpose as retreating, current brace does, which also can be exploited for a weakness period, but not free IWIN button for opponent. In: COH2 Balance

This is not off-map pin point bombing skill But he just explained to you how that kind of abilities already exist in game and are more powerful... Plus, there is quite a few units already existing with that mechanic. USF major, IR pathfinders. Ost arty officer. OKW sturm officer(with his personal propaganda arty). Soviet commissar(I think he also has prop arty?) Command panther with mark target. UKF arty flares of sniper and pyrotechnic section, valentine victor target. And I probably forgot about a couple. Pin on demand isn't really that strong, its the same power level as forced retreat we already have in game as units ability. In: Lobby

It is supposed to be useful for forcing support weapons and camping infantry squads to move , not one shot infantry squads or double shots support weapons. With a lower damage Zis barrage must be fine. It was toned down already by quite a lot.
