You can rush to the respective tiers and get these tanks even more rapidly than you would with a cp restricted call in. They should add a cp requirement for the medium call ins, even with the tie to tech. That need to get tech is the exact point. Have you even played with these changes yet? In: COH2 Gameplay

Just increase the received accuracity for OST sniper while retreating. That way a cleverly flanked sniper is more likely to die. Atm it seems the Ost sniper can simply retreat from every situation without beeing hit. That might be enough to balance it allready. MIGHT! Greetz It won't be as long as it have such superior RoF. Squad difference argument isn't really important anymore as both, axis have 6 men squads and allies have 4 men squads. With brits Ost sniper will be the most overpowered infantry unit in game and for a good reason. RoF nerf is really unavoidable unless they have changed something significantly about brits, which I doubt. In: COH2 Gameplay

If you think an Ostheer player has even a remote chance to tech to T4 this coming patch in 1v1 you are out of your mind. After playing them on alpha? Yes. Not only you have a chance to tech to T4 in ONE VS ONE, you'll have easier time at doing so then you currently have. In: COH2 Balance

The real issue is the faction has no light tanks at all... Skipping to T4? How? With support of 222 and 251? Schrecks and pak40 can be pushed back easily by any infantry units supported by light tanks. So the T4 cant be skip to easily. IMO everytime you must tech to T3 ASAP. They haven't been losing anything when going for tigers(which meant later armor). They won't lose anything when going T4. They'll fend off soviet lights the same way they were fending off M15. Furthermore since he is a one man unit there is more risk involved compared with the use of a Soviet sniper. Soon you won't have that argument as it'll be completely invalid. In: COH2 Gameplay
