I don't recall USF having equal unit to Ele or sniper.
Factions aren't mirrors.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Thread: Flame Hetzer Blows30 Oct 2015, 07:59 AM
The real question is how does the flame hetzer compare to the Wasp, halftrack or KV8 now that incendiary damage across the board was reduced. Flame vehicles were normalized. WASP deals as much damage as crocodile and everything between the two. People cried that flame tanks OP so they got a nerf, I don't think anyone sane expected hetzer not to get this nerf as well. Thread: To Relic -- Ideas to fix DLC mess29 Oct 2015, 22:09 PM
snip I don't really know what you(or anyone) expected. This is current gaming industry reality. Only players can change it, just like it was players who made devs abandon subscription model for the sake of F2P and often P2W mmos. You don't like DLCs? Play 8-bit like indie shits. You have enough money? Enjoy dlc content. You expect them to stop making dlcs? Get a grip on reality or convince every single player on earth to not buy them. DLCs are so widely spread and SUCCESSFUL, because WE THE PLAYERS fill pockets of the ones who sell them. The only company in the whole world who doesn't focus on that is blizzard, but don't worry, just like everything with blizzard, they are getting there about a decade after everyone else. You can be angry, you can make petitions, you can press dislike button on youtube-it doesn't matter, because half of the community will have new commanders after preview ends, everyone who wants total war warhammer will preorder it for dlc that clearly is a part of the game specifically cut to be a dlc instead of actual preorder bonus and other producers will keep doing what they do, because players are naive enough to make it work. Do they have arc displayed on the map? No? Then what would be reason for it? HMGs use visible arc, they don't auto face. On map arty use visible arc, they don't auto face. ATGs use visible arc, they don't auto fact. Kubel does and people wish it didn't, its a vehicle though so its unique case-call it an exception which confirms the rule. No reason why PH and ISG would auto fact with their arcs. Its called consistency. If you feel so micro taxed, then I have an advise for you: In: COH2 Gameplay |

Removing autoface is a stupid, unnecessary micro tax. >.> For the 1000th time, do you feel micro taxed when you have to relocate manually AT guns or HMGs? Why would it be any different to another weapon with displayed arc then? In: COH2 Gameplay |
Thread: Rethinking PIATs29 Oct 2015, 15:07 PM
Back in my day, you actually had to to use attack ground to make PIATs work, and it was an accepted, learned skill. People who didn't bother to learn how to lead their targets w. attack ground w. PIATs were laughed at and called noobs! Back in my day you have paid small muni fee to immobilize and disable tank with button and watch it melt to PIATs while it couldn't do anything about it. ![]() If you didn't felt like using this super high micro manouver you could always slam piats int scout-car cheap roos, chase down and YOLO blow up any given armor in game. Thread: Vet threshold; AVRE 45 KIA + panther and no vet 329 Oct 2015, 13:48 PM
I would say all vet should be based on damage dealt (or, better, have damage dealt prevalent factor in vet formulas), not cost of vehicle other vehicle shotting at. Vet is based on: Cost of unit attacking Cost of unit receiving Damage dealt(75% value) Damage received(25% value) Vet of unit attacked(20% bonus for each vet star) Model kill count is completely irrelevant for the vet, it only means how much attrition this particular unit caused. Panthers will have harder time getting vet if they are fighting 100-150 fuel tanks then if you've used it against 180+ fuel ones. OKW vet5 system allows them to have much better vet bonuses, but allied units shooting at 5 star squads will vet much faster as well, which is why its easier to vet crock churchill in late game on infantry. If you want to vet quickly on churchills, simply use StuGs or JP4 as panther will not be most effective in both, getting vet or even being a reliable counter as its designed to fight high armor targets, not high hp ones. Pwerfer also has ridiciulous low vet req compared to other similar units Not really, but its recent buff made it wipe whatever weapon team it shoots at, which leads to quick vet. Something that Katy can only dream of with half-map scatter and extremely long and ineffective barrage you can simply walk away from. In: COH2 Gameplay |
