Because people whined how OP flame tanks are, so they nerfed them all by 75% while not really changing much for the WASP, which sucks hard ever since last patch which made it deal whooping 6 damage. Thread: JU-87 AT Strafe Loiter is broken30 Oct 2015, 15:11 PM Took you 2 and a half year and couple of dozens of threads about, but you've finally noticed it Its cost effectiveness is broken for over a year now. @RMMLz Typhons are fundamentally different. There is one plane that attacks vehicles and one that attacks infantry, neither of them really rolls over its designated target. SCAS on the other hand uses 2 anti all planes which are hard to shoot down(hardcounter sov and USF AA units), apply permanent crits to vehicles and as it was said, suppress infantry and obliterate team weapons and infantry alike. No other loiter is as powerful as SCAS, but typhons are on far 2nd place with soviet IL-2 crying in the corner, being able to tickle infantry at most. In: COH2 Balance

They lose models a lot more quickly than rangers Paras have 480 hp vs small arms. Rangers have 500 effective hp vs small arms. Paras have more dps because of additional carbine as well as the ability. Paras also cost less, are easier to sustain and can be deployed as well as reinforced on the field next to pf beacons. Only reason to go for rangers over paras is because one is a fanboy of pershing. In: COH2 Balance

Didn't check the Halftrack and the Wasp yet. Edit: Also I don't know if that directly effects the DPS. Yeah, burst duration is about the only difference, but its still at least 5 seconds before full hp model dies. In: COH2 Balance

Hmm, well, this is definately unintended, i hope relic will fix this soon. Probably won't. This actually seems intended to me. Another normalization of flame damage across the board, all behicle flamers deal the same damage, all leave the same dot, doesn't matter if its WASP or churchill croc, they have exactly the same killing potential.
