Thread: Need help, getting fed up with this game7 May 2015, 03:33 AM Ill give light feedback early flamethrower on crossing in the woods instead of 222 upgrade when you already have a sniper? that basically sealed you against M20,so its not USF's fault,thats your fault for bad resource management. So 222 upgrade was late as heck,you actually have more units than he does during mid game,you just stagnate. no counterattack. Instead of early flamethrower you shouldve gotten early 222 upgrade and sweepers for M20 mines. When sherman came you couldve had double pak wall with a puma. I dont know if it was you I told this but ive said it before: 1v1 resource management is absoulutely crucial as ostheer. You gotta think about upgrades/units youre gonna buy ahead of time or you'll set yourself back too much. In: Ostheer Strategies

This was my most recent loss, even on axis sided maps I do badly. how did I get to here from rank 800? Before even losing was fun now every game is miserable. I once had a streak of -6,vs the old OKW as USF when I was almost top 200,fell all the way to 600,which absoulutely crushed my self esteem lol,I took it so hard... Then I took a break from 1v1 for about a week,regathered myself,reevaluated my strategies,watched a TON of top player casts,and then won 7 in a row and got as high as 231 before losing a close one to a top 50. Take a break from ostheer,maybe play another faction in that period,dont worry so much about winning,EVENTUALLY things will get back on track...youll start winning again....dont worry. I know saying "dont worry about winning" is cliche but when you go into games not caring if you win or not you'll play WAY better than if you're going "tryhard i gotta winnnnn" At least in my opinion. Thread: Question about squads calling out grenades/enemy contact6 May 2015, 21:26 PM Its really just using spacebar/tacmap making sure you're in GREEN cover to minimize nade's damage,and analyze each engagement and predict the nade.......you see a engineer squad dont worry about a nade,if you hit spacebar and see a guards squad he's probably gonna try a sneaky nade even if hes losing the engagement horribly,etc This is gonna sound trivial but just play more,the more you play the more you "Feel" the grenades coming Otherwise if you feel you cant monitor an engagement properly just retreat. Not only that,but if the coh2.org admins allowed NDA breaking,the website wouldnt even be around for too long afterwards,just like any other site that would put up forbidden stuffz from the alpha. The difference between Coh2.org and Coh2alphaleaks.com is alot of work time and money went into this site,and its a pretty important site for the coh2 community. make/code/pay for your own fan website,build it up over a few years, and find someone stupid and willing from a closed alpha to post some unit leaks and tell us how things are going for you a month later. Lost a couple ambulances quite easy, walked an at gun into infantry, didn't really have your captain on hand to support vs the stugge. I do agree that straight major would have been better for you that game though (you had the fuel advantage and the sherman wouldn't have been much later then stug and you could have played around it for long enough). I'm not having a go at you by the way, you're obviously a very good player to give vonivan a run for his money and we all make micro mistakes. Captain won't scare STUG E because he does that stupid dance and then bunches up. Which is a free double zook drop. And you're not getting a clean flank on it with a non vet 3 sprint captain vs vonivan,Kappa I would've had a 10 min or earlier Sherman and 5-6 rifle squads with forward reinforce vs a STUG E,ass grens, and pak,on STALINGRAD...basically GG. if I had just went straight to major. Instead I basically give him a huge resource favor by dropping 570 mp 80 fuel into captain bunch up and ATG that takes some serious patience and calm demeanor to micro on a map like Stalingrad with all those assgrens instead of just finishing it with a quick tonk. Lt/Cpt builds to call-ins work like a charm with Armour or Rifle company, as does ie. Cpt into Major with Inf. I rarely go for a Stuart as I think it delays Major tech/call-ins for too long and is generally cost-inefficient, but 57 and Pak Howitzer are very viable units and give you staying/attrition power that you otherwise do not get. If $200 is on the line,You're better off just rushing a Sherman if you can every single time. Side teching is never better than skipping a tier. I like LT Captain builds too...Matter of fact that's usually what I do nowadays simply because I like trying stuff that's different. But in a tournament game you won't see me double officer teching anymore.. It gets you nowhere. You need all the cheese and tier skipping you can get. @ace going airborne and dropping the ATG assumes you do the brainless LT M20 fast Sherman,so In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Stug E and Target Weak Point4 May 2015, 18:50 PM When I played USF during these tournament games I tried to not play like a "retard brain dead nfantry spammer" by Getting a captain,Stuart,AT guns,you name it against STUG E on top of an LT. it didn't matter at all. Infact looking back I think I threw the games by going captain. The captain tier and 57mil are liabilities in high level play. You're forced to do this brain dead major Sherman rush or M10s because nothing else stands up to the stooge. Soviets I'd say should have 0 problems VS STUG E if they simply tech T2 and AT Nades,on top of their conspam In: COH2 Balance

Now, you could nerf the rate of fire or accuracy of the thing, but my preffered way would be to change its fire mode to arced fire like that of the brumbaar/bulldozer. While giving it the bunker busting barrage of the brumbaar at vet 1. It might still need a nerf after such changes, but we will see +100000000000000000000000000000000. If i at least have time to dodge the shell at distance that would be grand!! Change SU76 auto fire to the same thing. In: COH2 Balance
