That's cool with me. It's hardly a unique idea, as it's something I've seen floated on both forums for a while now. I think it's a safe bet to suggest that either Italy or North Africa (Commonwealth vs. Italians/Germans) is the most popular setting for the next expansion, but I'd certainly rather see an interesting mixed faction than another German one. By having access to both Italian and German doctrinal stuff you could design a stronger, more unique faction without having to re-use Ostheer and OkW stuff. In: COH2 Gameplay

We already have the PaK 43 and Ostwind being used by the OkW because Relic clearly ran out of time/money on them, after having indulged in so much content for the USF that it wasn't all even used in the end. Let's have the Panzer III for the Ostheer, and the StuH 42 and Wespe could work for the OkW. Next? Brits vs. Someone else. I suppose an Italian-German type faction makes the most sense, and so you could maybe have the FlaK 88 added as part of that, but I really do not want to see a third German-only faction. Your idea in itself is fine, so don't take any offence, but I really don't want to see it come to fruition. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Relic are adding Achievements in Steam DB21 Jan 2015, 18:36 PM Does anyone know exactly how Steam depot items work? Is it likely that each of those entries is in fact a new item of content, and it's not just a red herring like them being Achievements or suchlike? Thread: Community Farewell from pqumsieh20 Jan 2015, 23:30 PM I'm not sure there's any correlation between Peter deciding to leave because of a likely combination of frustration at Relic and wanting to climb the industry ladder, and the fact that CoH2 is not an e-sports title. I suppose, if you wanted to, you could blame him for perceived balance issues (regardless of whether he was in fact responsible for them), but you couldn't blame him for issues with faction design, poor input delay, and so on. CoH2 will almost certainly improve over time, but this community is a fairly angry and self-entitled one as whole, so it's easy to see why someone may wish to move on to a more constructive and understanding environment.
