Let's be honest Napalm, if we just adjusted small arms then Soviets might be even for the first 10 minutes but they will still struggle in the mid to late game. Very damn true. Are we allowed to be a little impatient? Piecing together the little hints you've dropped all over the place has been fun and builds excitement. I've got an idea for the future. Within a week it was identified that there were some major balancing issues, after two weeks it was really set in stone. Perhaps conducting small iterations would be a better approach instead of having to wait until the next large patch? This would only apply to serious game balance issues. I'll tell you why I brought this up. Looking at my direct group of pals I play with 4/6 are currently on hiatus. Thinking big picture, how many others are as well? I hope that after this is all said and done that Relic would consider another free to play weekend and try to get some new blood into the game. I'm afraid of the churn rate. Avoiding results like the poll below would be a good thing in my opinion. In: COH2 Gameplay

Anyho, update. pqumsieh All vehicles have seen some adjustment, whether it be a minor or major change. The T34-85 is no exception. Sounds like it'll be a pimping patch. However, minor adjustments to small arms profiles are taking too long and have made me go 'meh'. In: COH2 Gameplay

They try to do big/core changes between 2 seasons. They do have balance changes all the time though, but biggest tournaments are always couple weeks late with balance to give pros time to adapt. Perhaps having an "Overall" rankings that represents all the seasons would be a good fit? I wonder how other competitive titles handle this. Anybody know about Starcraft 2? In: Lobby

By clearing the stats after a new patch has dropped wouldn't beta testers theoretically be owning the ladders until everyone catches up? You are correct. I worded it poorly. They would be less enshrined and have to battle just as hard as the regular folk to get their spots back. It still does nothing to address the advantage...dunno. In: Lobby

I could see a couple: - Reset the unfair advantage beta testers have been given. By participating in the beta they get early insight into game changing mechanics and can adapt sooner. - Flush out inactive players. - Give folks who have just picked up a game a chance at making it into the ladders. - Remove historic losses that occurred during the "whoops, lol, balance" cycles.
