This means it should take at least 5 minutes to build up enough munitions for it assuming no additional expenditures. You forgot that Allied AA has grown and makes knocking it down easier. I think, for cost, this ability is performing correctly, but would be interested in other people's thoughts. Video does not work for me. The problem is that it lasts way longer than it should. It's a timed ability that is supposed to last for 75 seconds (the reticule on the mini map correctly lasts only 75 seconds). However, the planes will keep patrolling more than a 100 seconds after the ability is supposed to end. It means that if you do not have AA (which allies have a lot less off that axis), your vehicles will be out of the fight for 3 minutes. Even besides this bug, it's still a much better AT strafe than the 240 ammo P47 strafe. P47 rockets can't even hit a stationary P4. All they do is land next to it. But this is of course a problem with the P47... In: COH2 Balance

With all respect to your skill, Bofors wipes left and right and has barrage, is nigh unkillable and a Mortar pit will kill any Leig, while Stuka doesn't counter neither of those. No, the Leig simply (hard)counters all british emplacements. Leig gets +15 range at vet 1 which makes it super effective against mortar pits. A single Leig will force brace and repairs. Simply tell it to attack ground on the mortar pit and it will go away. Double Leigs counters all emplacement play, and will also destroy them fairly quickly unless the opponent uses Stead Fast and rushes heavy royal engineers. Triple Leigs will destroy even the most determined emplacement user. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Lengthening and Enhancing the Infantry Combat15 Feb 2016, 08:58 AM The problem is that light vehicles are the only way some factions get some early game variety. Out of all the factions, only Ostheer has a varied early game with 3 viable types of infantry (pios count because of flamer), an HMG, mortar, and a sniper. They also have easy access to grenades and weapon upgrades without needing to side-tech. If you look at USF, they only have riflemen... Can't clear buildings with them, can't counter snipers with them. HMGS and pak howies come late etc. Lenghtening and enhancing the infantry combat phase of the game would require some massive overhauls. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Fixing the Brits14 Feb 2016, 12:22 PM The bofors is already useless against OKW. Giving it a 52%HP nerf will also make it useless against Wehr. Might as well remove it from the game at that point; especially considering that it locks you out of getting the AEC: the only reliable mobile AT unit you will have until you get medium tanks. Likewise, the mortar pit is also garbage against OKW, and just useful enough against Wehr as it is. I'd also be hesitant to just straight up compare teching costs to medium tanks. It leaves out important factors such as getting grenades, vehicle snares and weapon upgrades. Other than that the changes look decent. You could try to make a mod to see how it works in practice. Thread: Flak Emplacements...14 Feb 2016, 10:07 AM I faced a flak emplacement for the first time in months yesterday. To my surprise, it was actually fairly effective. It was placed on flat ground so it no problem hitting and suppressing infantry. I tried to quickly take it out with double AT guns, but my AT guns had a very hard time hitting it. I'm not sure if I just had some extremely bad RNG, or if the gun has a small target size. I'm going to do some experiments with it myself. I'm not sure how long it holds up against things like mortar fire. Nor do I know how good it is on non-flat surfaces. In: COH2 Balance
