Ok let me try and help this thread. First and foremost anyone who has never had a P4, panther, or Tiger run into you line kill something and then smoke out with little to no health, and still get away even if you attack ground will vote no for even a change to vehicle smoke.
Now with that out of the way. Yes, i think smoke dose need a change, but shouldn't be removed from the game. All that is need is a skill check, like the sherman smoke, which is not instance, and needs a click for it to work. The fact that people are all right with get out of jail free cards in Coh2 (for only one side, with the better tanks by the by) that takes no skill, and just say no to even the idea that smoke may need a change, or at lest needs to be added to weaker units like all american tanks is a joke.

could just make a upgrade in the HQ like in CoH 1 that lowers tha Pop Cost of rifles. Make it like 300 man power, and 100 fuel and it Cuts the pop cap or rifles and Shermans by half. This will increase your manpower income be increased and let you make more men and tanks to fight the better Germans or allow your elite army to not bleed you to death. |
Only bad crush mechanic is m10 crush. A TD shouldnt e able to cause mass retreats just it can barrel dive into your troops and wipe squads.
But a panther crushing is ok?

Adding the 40 cal. and the ATG to the HQ would be a good start. Just make the ATG only be unlocked after you get Lgt. or Cap.
Also making it to were you can easily back tech and get all of the american tools would be cool.

I love arty, and just to point it out lefy can now do the same things to allies bases to. I think the best option is to make it so Off-map ability and the On map artillery can't be used in bases sectors.
I still don't like the fact that arty emplacement can just be two click out by axis. And like it has been pointed out OKW should be punished for placing there buildings to forward, but shouldn't be punish in the bases sector. |

The only thing i would like to see change and this is mostly for 3v3+ on larger maps is for the Med base not to be able to unlock the fall back upgrade until another truck is made. This comes out way to fast and mess up 3v3+ the most.

How are the EZ8 states other than health vs the T34-85? I thought that the EZ8 has better scatter and pen. |
Why not just make it to were you can only build one ML-20 and one Leif, and they can only be placed in the base sector. Then increased there range to hit the whole map.
After this is in place make it to were bases sectors, cant be targeted by off map arty, planes, or other built arty, and all mobile arty.Just an idea.

Three easy changes to make Cons better.
1. put mollys and AT nades into one upgrade. make it lake 150 manpower, and 25 fuel or something.
2. Make merged con modules get all the buffs of the unit they join. But add a ammo cost to the ability like like 10 or 15 ammo.
3. Take away the 0.7 accuracy penalty. At no time should a cost combat unit get an accuracy penalty.
Will this solve all the problems facing cons no, but it would be a start and would give people a reason to have them.
One things i would like to see is a upgrade package that could be bought for like 250 ammo (each unit) that changed vet 3 cons into shocks or guards. Would be cool and would help the whole elite inf problem the Soviets face. Also wouldn't need to change doctrine ability because they would just mean you get guards and shocks faster and cheaper. |
