Thread: State of USF18 Aug 2015, 07:56 AM And while you argument stands for 1v1 were games can be one in the early to mid game, most the time in 2v2+ it is a late game victory and at this USF just sucks. I mean i need Korean levels of micro to make USF work in team games (because not one USF unit and just take out an Axis unit with out some micro), and even then CoH 2 is no Starcraft when it comes to micro. I have never seen a battle cruiser spin around about 2 times before going the way you want it. I mean the faction would be of if i didn't have to fight the game every dam step to keep my glass cannons alive. On have my rilf, not thought there nads when told to. Losing units to clups. The list go on. And, becuase of all these issue faction like the USF with easy to kill glass cannons get fucked. The point I am trying to make is that the faction and play stile you are talking about works until it doesn't or when late game hits over load sets in. In: Lobby

Another stat question do the received accuracy also mean that they take more damage explosive weapons Nads and the like. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Need a stat master.18 Aug 2015, 00:16 AM Ok so i was look at the Coh 2 stat site to try and compare the HMG (MG 42, MG 34 .50 Cal, Kuble, and Maxism). i cant make heads or tails of the stats so i am looking for someone who can to answer a few questions. 1. Why dose the .50 cal cost more? do some stats justify this? 2. What makes it to were mg42 and kubles have no problem suppressing units in green cover at any range while maxism, mg 34, and .50 cals cant most of the times? 3. what makes the MG 42 so much better at suppressing units on mass and in a larger area then all other HMGs? 4 what stats govern suppress? do damage, accuracy, or rate of fire pay a factor? The whole reason why we wanted a buff for arty was to increase more game play and we are noticing this now. i agree. I would like balance in CoH 2 to move away from Buffs and nerf, which either leaves units OP or UP, and look to adding in counters. Not saying thought commanders, or two click abilitys, but core units or core unit abilitys. One idea for OKW is to take out the fire strike (which no one uses) on the Walk Stuka, and add a counter barrage ability. Make the ability to were the suka can't us its main barrage ability while in the mod, and that is can't move (with out activating a cool down on both barrage abilities). The ability willincrease the range of the stuka by half of its normal range maybe even double. While in this mod every time an Arty unit fires a shell the stuka shoots a rocket at it. Once all 6 normal rockets are fired it has the normal cool down applied. There you go no nerf need for arty, and OKW get a counter to Arty. In: COH2 Gameplay

Anyone who has played the game knows that the faction comparison is well, off (by a lot in some areas). But, would everyone be ok if the factions played like the comparison stated they did. I mean i would. On paper that is a great roster of factions to play. Thoughts? In my personal opinion i would like to see all future balance changes made to reflect this faction comparison. In: Lobby

But at the same time the gun needs a HP increase so it doesnt die in 1 stukka/il2 bomb strike (since the fuel cost would be unsustainable). tell you what ill make a list of changes... - LeFe - Needs less scatter - ML20 - Needs vet reworking (extra 2 shots brings it up to 12 per salvo, meaning it fires the same amount as the LeFe but has ALOT more damage). So remove that and have them at 10 shots per salvo. - Price changes to both + B4 to 400mp + 90 fuel - 60% Gun HP increase - Cannot fire at Base sectors - Give OKW a commander with the LeFe (or replace the bunkers with it in the defencive doctrine). Still 90 fuel. i like all of these ideas, although i would like the B4 to be soviet pak 43. In: COH2 Gameplay
