Otherwise the exact hit angle would need to be taken into account and this might be very difficult to imprement concidering the number of entities and shots involved. For CoH1 I allways found the hit box system very elegant and it worked well and satisfying. So my conclusion is not that the system as such is wrong but the changes they made to it. i agree. what that piece of art of mine tried to say is IF they implement side armor they need to limit it to a small part of the side portion of any vehicle. side armor wasnt that thick (and didnt had to be) because it was "supposed" to only recieve shots with a shallow (?) impact angle, so deflection was quite likely. but since there are no impact angles influencing penetration values in coh2 frontal armor would have to cover a bigger part of the vehicle to make up for that and keep the vehicle from being to vulnerable to frontal attacks hitting its sides In: Lobby

G Assault Gun, do you use it?7 Dec 2014, 13:09 PM in a close game a pIV followed by a stug can be the difference between victory and defeat. waiting for a second pIV (or even a call in) may be the last nail in your coffin. on the other hand i would strongly advice against going stugs only and only to get a stug before a pIV if you really dont have a choice (fuel shortage, etc) In: COH2 Gameplay
