I saw this a doctrine a lot during the OCF tournament yet it is still unavailable for purchase. If this game is going to be an esport how come one of the best commanders is not available? And it's a joke that it was available as a promotion valentine day's weekend when most people with lives are busy with something else. How can this game become an esport when arbritary stuff like limited access to commanders exists? CAS is available in the store, which anyone who has it can verify by turning "Hide Owned Items" off. I have previously checked and there are only 4 commanders that are NOT in the store: 1) Soviet Defensive 2) Ostheer Defensive 3) Mobile Defence 4) Lend Lease The first two you still should be able to get by signing up to official forums The other two were released is the runup to WFA release In: Lobby |

You are correct of course, but they still get T2 for free so it doesn't affect the sums I made. I did work out the best case scenario for the Sovs which is why I excluded any other teching even grenades. In: Lobby |

4xR43 + Vet5 JPIV. KVs wipe out the puppchens while shocks, Is2, 3xinvisible Zis and flame arty take care of the rest. Ok: KV8 145 fuel IS2 230 fuel The 50 fuel for starting gets T2, so the Soviet fuel investment here is 145+145+230 = 520 That's their best case scenario, any other tech will cost that more. OKW: fuel for starting truck Assume all 3 trucks up (80+40) = 120 + IV/70 135 Total: 255 Even with OKW reduction Sov have spent way more fuel However the really interesting bit for me is 4 Raketen and a IV/70 is going to have been really bad at fighting an army that consists of Cons, Shocks, Maxims, Zis and Mortar In: Lobby |

I started going T1 starts when WFA came out just to counter the Konigskubel. I stuck with it because it gives good early push and if you can find an early truck and take it out that's a big bonus and there is nothing worse than forcing your enemy to retreat and finding a truck set up you can't hurt. T2 is more or less essential unless you have some other way to get AT or you really want to rely on your teammates As such I usually do T1+T2 and don't build Cons If I do build Cons, I don't bother with T1 So I think the really interesting decision is not T1 or T2, but whatelse do you do besides T2? T2 by itself Means spamming Maxims early game, and they are not so hot with all the indirect and fire about T1+T2 As noted above T0+T2 Attack with Cons, hold with T2 stuff T0+T1+T2 That looks like such an investment in fuel and MP that either you aren't getting good value from everything so you can skip something OR your upkeep will suffocate your teching and lack of fuel delay it |

Unfortunately I haven't tried Storm recently so I can't comment other than theory crafting for the OPs request However looking over that list made me think that this is something people could make work.
