Thread: epic game wp 8 May 2014, 18:36 PM 4 elefants destroyed, I give it a 50/10 rating just for that. Impressive hero t-34 harassment skills by Giap. Also goes to show suiciding those two panthers late game allowed for the Elefants to be easily taken down as more panthers were never built to defend/support them.....just a brummbar. I also found the lack of teller mines to try and stop the t-34s disturbing. GG WP all though nonetheless. In: Replays

Thread: Honest opinions about Balance - Soviet adv8 May 2014, 06:56 AM Con spam > Gren spam. It has returned in full force. Though it is not as potent as it was before, especially with the old PPsH, it can still do waves of dmg especially when cons are grouped together. Soviet mines are capable of wiping full health gren squads on occasion and while they retreat. Soviet Armor is More AI then AT overall. Maxims while weak, are still effective with good micro(which I'm fine with) because it can be countered by your average german mortar. Shocks are very effective at close range, so as a German player you must always keep your distance. Soviet snipers are trollolo, especially with guards, but still counterable....as long as you don't mess up or get boned by RNG. ISU is a Gren's worst nightmare. Nerfs are not needed, but changes to the way certain vehicles, abilities, weapons work are needed. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Next patch ETA8 May 2014, 06:44 AM Solution imo: Decrease range on both the elefant and the ISU to like 75. Give the ISU a higher scatter ratio so it has a higher chance of missing gren squads. Reduce the dmg output of an elefant so that it's equivalent to a tiger, but give it an option to lock down(like the Marder in VCoH) where it is able to deal the dmg it has done before, but be forced into place. (Takes lets say 8 seconds for it to move out of place once it's put into place at w/e time you decide you want to move it). This allows for both units to still be effective, but with limitations. Arty, multiple tanks, etc... will be able to counter it effectively if unsupported/unwatched. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Land Lease commander and fuel transfer ability8 May 2014, 06:37 AM While the fuel conversion ability is pretty darn strong I highly recommend countering the plane by getting two upgunned scout cars out. And making at least two paks + p4 or w/e tank you're aiming for: tiger, etc... Paks deal with Shermans very nicely. (Remember: two paks, 1 pak will easily get overtaken by a sherman at any range.)
