Thread: Decrease ressource income in team-games?9 Oct 2013, 07:56 AM I don't know if this is possible, but I think it would improve the quality of team games if ressource income was toned down. The problem now is AFAIK, that all players get the total income from all capped points. Since that goes for both sides, this is hardly a balancing problem (allthough somewhat). The problem is more the abaundance of fuel which means quite fast teching and not least massive tank rushes. Now, why not postpone the teching and give T1-T2 a longer life in team games? I think it would improve the quality of those games. And maybe even educate players to go for more than just MG42 spam=>PzIV/Panther spam. I guess income should be lowered proportionally from 2v2 down to about half in 4v4. In: COH2 Gameplay

Please realise, that the Panther poses an all together bigger problem in 2v2+ because it is possible for one player to build 3 without jeopardising his game. In 1v1 that's almost impossible unless, as stated above, the soviet player allready threw the game. It's like 3 Panthers (or most other tanks for that matter) are beyond some kind of a breaking point. It's just not feasible to prepare and fit in enough defense to stop such a push at every possible location. In: COH2 Balance

And actually it's hard to determine how many of the quite many disconnected games that are staged. At a different subject, I was told previously that reports of team kills and other abuse was supposed to be sent to info@relic.com Now it's enforcement@relic. com??? It makes sense and I'll be looking for it as a possible cause. At a related topic, I noticed how LOS doesn't always Work in an intuitive way. If you position a unit behind a bush or something, it may pe pixels deciding if the units has LOS or not. If it doesn't fire, it may mean it doesn't have LOS. And in such cases I have been able to give them LOS by moving the unit a tiny bit. While this may make sense IRL, I think it's bad for gameplay. A terrain cover entity should either allow or deny LOS in all it range. In: COH2 Bugs

And you have to remember that there are also bulletins that improve its penetration rate. We don't want to turn a field AT into an insta-killer? In: COH2 Balance
